I can’t believe you guys aren’t more excited about this. This a New Year’s Day Bowl Game in Florida . We were looking at Jax, Charlotte and possibly Nashville . This is a huge win for us.

All the more when one considers that we get both to play on New Year's and to have a matchup that puts 9-4 within (relatively) easy reach.

Not a good matchup for the Vols. Any offense will score on our defense and our run game is going to struggle. If Milton plays we could lose.

You do realize Iowa has one of the worst offenses in the country. This is a great match-up

I'm fairly confident 99% of you all haven't seen Iowa play a single down & jus wanna complain and whine cause our D gave up points to GEORGIA, ALABAMA, MIZZ.... 3 really good offenses.. Iowa's offense is terrible. Theys a reason they had games o/u only in the 20s... Jesus ppl.

Their QB could come out and play like
the next Manning but I highly doubt it.

Win on New Year's (and the odds are high) and we win 20 games over two years for the first time since 2003-2004. I'll gladly take that.

This is a good match up for us IMO.

We've struggled scoring on offense, but we are typically able to get a few big play scores per game. Iowa is good on D, but not on offense, so that's ideal for us right now. With the exception of the weird Florida game, the teams we're struggled with have had prolific offenses.

This feels more like that Texas A&M game. Also, while Iowa has an elite defense, we've faced a few elite defenses this year with A&M and Bama, and we were able to score. Just not enough. Iowa's offense isn't anywhere close to Bama or Georgia's.

I think we win some low scoring, boring game: 20-13 or something.

If Iowa was smart they would come out passing the football. I feel we can stop the run well enough to win, but not a passing attack by any college qb
