However we are killing ourselfs with plastic. At this pace we’ll all be dead long before the climate becomes a problem

Reminds me of a movie that I saw yesterday on tv. Liam Neeson was an air marshal on a plane with a bomb. After he couldn't stop it from detonating, he put the bomb next to an exit , piled all the overhead luggage against it, and had the pilot dive to below 8,000 feet, and let her blow. Of course, in the real world that wouldn't work, but the pilot brought the plane down safe, with a huge hole in the side. At least, he was planning ahead.

Completely agree hog. We cannot stop, prevent or reverse the climate. So why not invest the money on how to adapt to it.
