That part is his opinion. He actually smiles when he says it. The only scripture I can point you to is that the earth will be turned into a Lake of Fire. 2nd Peter 3:5-7, which will be a huge Global Warming.

When you post a piece that convolutes faith with opinion, you do the same thing you argue against. Some will hear that and take it as fact because they won't bother to read the scripture. Others will use that to say "look what these jesus freaks believe". Its not good for either side.

Turning the earth into a lake of fire, for believers, is most likely going to be a sudden event, not take place over the course of hundreds of years. Regardless of what we believe, turning the earth into a lake of fire does not address current climate change discussion in any way other than to say...we all gonna burn one day.

Well some alarmist seem to think that Global Warming\Climate Change will destroy the earth and kill us all. AOC gave us 12 years until she didn't. Is that also what your speaking about when saying some will hear and think it's fact? I'm saying only God will destroy the earth per His Word. Nothing else will. That is my belief and I base it on the Word of God. Everyone has to listen and discern for themselves. I cannot be responsible for what others believe and think.

Edit: This whole board would have to be wiped if opinions were not allowed.

Opinions are great! It's when we mix them with facts, yup just like AOC, that the conversation becomes an argument. If I believe an unsubstantiated opinion over your (not you personally, you in general) facts or faith, you will call it out and I will be forced to defend or concede. It escalates when others bring non-facts into the discussion presented as gospel.

Yeah, it's a message board...but why cant we slow down enough to at least listen to each other? I'm sure you and I could have one heck of a discussion over a cold drink covering a lot of topics...probably wouldn't be ready to strangle each other at the end.
