This guy is not a “power back” looking at his highlights, but he’s 220 and looks better than wright imo. I thought Jefferson could come in and be that 1-2 punch with small and this guy is definitely capable. I think he’s being promised the starting job at Purdue though so it could be a tough pull
Yeah everyone forgets we were suppose to have Tiyon Evans this year, so it's obvious we should be adding a veteran RB to take his spot.I think we have three solid options... But we had three solid options last year... And then Wright was in there as a freshman playing every snap multiple games.
Who on our team has a 1000 yard rushing season? It's not a matter of understanding or not.
It's preference.
This guy can play 2 more seasons I think.
Not sure he's better than anyone we have right now including the freshman.
I do trust Heupel. Adding this kid wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
Evidently he feels like his room is still too young..which it kind of is. But experience is the best teacher
I agree we should take this kid but I hate it when our fans bash kids who weren’t stars as freshman and sophomores. Maybe just maybe those RB’s you listed will get better with time and development. Sorry if that hurts your feelings. This team desperately needs a tailback. Sorry if it hurts anyone’s feelings, but our RB room is weak when compared with rest of SEC. The true freshman is the only real SEC body we have. Small is, well, small. A decent player but nothing game changing. Same with Wright. Evans was huge loss that this staff has yet to replace.
Well he was hurt last year so the guy he split time with ended up leading the country in rushing yards. Still. Had 1,000 yards in 2019, probably would have had 1,000 again in 2020 if they played a full year. Was on pace to.Meh. Seems serviceable……he got beat out by another back and then got injured.
A grad transfer for a year? I guess. If he’s playing a lot, I don’t think it’s gonna matter much, because UT is in trouble.
Small is 5’11 214…… that’s not smallThis team desperately needs a tailback. Sorry if it hurts anyone’s feelings, but our RB room is weak when compared with rest of SEC.
