Coach Dooley, thank you for what you did!

When you are making more than or as much as Spurrier and Cutcliffe feeling sorry kind of goes by the wayside. I do think he cared about his players and the program.

Of course he wanted to win. But his actions towards our former players, current players and his asst coaches makes me dislike him as a person.
Sure he has whimsical "sayins" and says funny things at times. But his actions speak for themselves.

The only thing he deserves is the severance package that he is going to get.

Yeah! I felt sorry for Fulmer even though he had to go because he TRULY did do so much for ut. And I knew his career was over. DD is paid and has his entire life ahead of him.

Is calling non Dooley fans idiots really the way to go? You aren't any better for belittling everyone else, imo

As far as I can tell, those folks haven't worked hard trying to right the sinking ship. All many of them have done is complain constantly.

And it's not an issue about being a Dooley fan or a non Dooley fan. It's about anonmously ridiculing someone who has been in a difficult spot and has done a lot of good things.

I'd like to hear more details about his supposed treatment of other coaches, players, and former players.

What happened?

You clowns can keep saying that no one wanted the job but that doesn't make it so. He got the job because of his last name and we had an AD that was an idiot. It was a great opportunity for him that he didn't deserve or earn and he failed.

Getting rid of his sorry coaching ass is good for UT. Getting to watch all of you boot polishers is good for me.

Does the 88 in your name represent the year you were born? Not hating, just wondering.

I think you are going a little far in calling us ingrates and idiots. The man needs to go-period. Getting upset and calling people names over anything posted by an anonymous stranger on a message board is a waste of time, not to mention against board rules.

Not arguing the point of whether he should go; just arguing the point of how little respect many show.

How about we paid his salary through donations and ticket purchases etc. All he did was take the $ and lose at a level this school has never known? How in the hell is that saving a sinking ship. At best he rearranged furniture on the sinking ship.

So you don't think the program is in any better shape than when he was hired?

bump. Wouldn't mind hearing details. If people are going to make statements, rather than opinions, back them up, don't disappear when asked.

It's hard to argue with one of such keen intelligence.

You're good. I mean I hit an a instead of e. You're right.

And by the way I got my first degree from UT in 92. My MBA was finished up in 95. How about you?

i'm not in their argument, but your response shows that you are clueless as to where the program was when Kiffin left, and I guess you have no idea that the offense is one of the best we have had as far as yards and points. We couldn't complete a pass or get a 3rd down in the first year with Simms.

Look everyone! One of the head boot polishers. Where's your brother Orangeblazer?

Your hero has all but slammed the door in the face of former players.

I guess that's why Al Wilson and Leonard Little were on the sidelines this weekend; and why they were introduced to the crowd during a timeout.

It was a fixer upper then.

It's a fixer upper now.

The best players on the team are leaving. The new coach wont be able to jump in and win right away

clueless as usual.

Dooley sealed his fate with a loss. I stated in the summer that the season would play out and would clear itself up. You ***** everyday about it along the way. I rolled with the situation. The result is the same, which is a new coach next year. Some of us handle things better than others.

I'm excited about the search and hope we get what we need.

Now take your dramatic bs and suck on it.

That was done by the AD not the coach. He's the first to not have essentially an open door policy to former players.

The question earlier asked wasn't "can the new coach win next year". The question was "do you think the program is in better shape than when he was hired".

unless there is a Johnny football out there for us, or any SEC team, you are correct. Schedule is brutal and offense and defense will change.
That has nothing to do with the program not being in better shape.
We have a badass OL with multiple future draft picks and haven't had that in years.
We have a DL with potential for a change
We got whipped in the trenches on both sides of the ball for years. We don't get whipped there anymore.
