It is every bit of my business. I am an investor in this program and athletics department. The player embarrassed himself. If players do not want to play to TN standards and represent the university, there's always the transfer portal.

Hype fully expects Banks to be back this week.

And I can tell you as a fan who's seen the pre 2003 highs to the last 15 years of lows, this is nowhere near the crisis situations we have seen over the last decade and a half.

Yall acting like Banks situation is Shy Tuttle all over again. Move on.

Maybe you should his the portal as a fan to a program that thinks delivering every nitty gritty detail to the fans is a vital part of the day to day operations.

If it was your business you'd be in a position to be heard by someone that knew instead of trying to find out on a free sports message board whining like an 8 year old girl not getting her way.

There is a huge chasm of space between a top 10 defense and giving up 63 to an awful SC offense. No one expects this defense to be top 10 . It’s reasonable to expect it to hold SC below 40, much less 63.

Agreed... an equally bad and in some areas even worse defense at Florida held that juggernaut offense to 6 points.

We are ranked nearly dead last in Defense and have been at the bottom all year. It’s a freaking miracle we have had more of these meltdowns.

Fans and the public are so crazy/silly.

How the hell would you or anyone else outside that locker knowing what happened help the program? It needs to be fixed and water cooler speculation will have zero bearing on whether it does or not.

Either the coaching staff and leaders on the team will fix it...or they will lose to Vandy. And losing to Vandy will shortnen ones career pretty quickly.

But whether we know the real story or not will not help the program at all.

Yeah-let’s get mad at the fans for expecting more with our history and resources. I’d argue it’s more optimistic to demand we play to our history and resources rather than accepting the worst loss by a 5th ranked team I can remember with everything on the line. Or we can keep up the losing mentality that gave us the worst program performance in the conference of the last decade relative to resources and ability. No one is blowing up after a close loss to a good team like Georgia. This loss isn’t that and it’s not excusable.

It boggles my mind to think that the defense would lay down in a game that important just to protest an individual disciplinary action. I don't believe such a thing has happened or will happen.

You could argue that, but you’d be mistaken. No shame there; it happens all the time.

I think you should look up “optimistic” in a hard copy dictionary.
