In Athens it is done by people who are much more likely to be Tennessee fans. Much more likely to be passionate. Is a bigger part of their lives, and are much more likely to get very angry about something like this.

Either a game is more important than people's livelihoods, or it's not. If it's not, then location doesn't matter. The Athens CoC could be renting out Neyland Stadium to host Saban's speech and it still wouldn't be a big deal.

You do realize that we arent going to stop doing business period right. We will take our business elsewhere and improve their livelihood.

Taking your business elsewhere over a game is meant to punish those who, in your view, don't support your team while rewarding those that do.

Now if we could just get others to join you. Curious, are you reviewing the Chamber membership list in hard copy, online or are you looking for decals so you will know who not to do business with?

Im not from Athens. I dont have the daily dilemna. I was thinking about making the Athens drive to save a couple grand. Ill make sure that I check out the car dealerships before I bother.
