for four more years. You think this is the first good recruiting class we've had? We have talent every year.
We had a demonstrably better chance of making a serious run LAST YEAR as opposed to this year, IMO--and it is likely that next year will not be as good as this year without Nared and Russell.
You are most likely right about the teams chances. I am aware that the make up of the team last year was quite talented:
'13 Mercedes Russell - #1, 5 star recruit
'13 Diamond Deshields - #3, 5 star recruit
'13 Jordan Reynolds - #42, 4 star recruit
'14 Jamie Nared - #6, 5 star recruit
'14 Alexa Middleton - #28, 5 star recruit
'14 Kourtney Dunbar - #78, 4 star recruit
'15 Jamasha Jackson - #49, 5 star recruit
'15 Te'a Cooper - #8, 5 star recruit,
Out with injury
'16 Kamera Harris, NR, 3 star recruit
& Shaquila Nunn which admittedly I am not sure what her credentials were out of HS but I believe was like second or third team All-Conference @ Winthrop.
This years team make up is:
'13 Mercedes Russell - #1, 5 star recruit
'14 Jamie Nared - #6, 5 star recruit
'14 Kourtney Dunbar - #78, 4 star recruit
'15 Jamasha Jackson - #49, 5 star recruit
'16 Kamera Harris, NR, 3 star recruit
'17 Evina Westbrook- #2, 5 star recruit
'17 Anastasia Hayes- #9, 5 star recruit
'17 Rennia Davis- #12, 5 star recruit
'17 Kasi Kushkituah- #57, 4 star recruit
& Cheridene Green which all I know is she is from London and was a NJCAA All-American.
I know that Tennessee always has recruited well. The rosters with the exception of youth really look quite similar talent wise. If you average out the rankings of what was lost you get an avg of 20.25. The average ranking of what was gained was 20. So, marginally better.
