yes, i too think this is a very nice group [good mix of VETS and ROOKS]...they[AS A GROUP] have the needed talent to make a legit F4 push...i REALLY think our set of ROOKS are going to be pretty special...i think Kortney is going to do her thing this year...i think the EX-FACTOR :matrix:could be Kamera...if she could avg around 6RBs, 7pts, 2blks, look out, because she has that kinda of talent and looks to be more comfortable this year...IT'S TIME TO ROCK!!:dance2:epper: LVFL

Kortney is still waiting for a release from the DR to start doing any real rehab. Westbrook finished summer practice on the sideline because of a bump on the head...(not gonna use the C word). They really have not been able to do any 5-on-5 work because they have not had all the girls available at the same time.
Just because you have 10 doesn't mean 10 will play. What did they have last year, 9? Even when Dunbar was healthy she rarely played, Nunn got far fewer minutes than I think many fans anticipated, and Harris was basically there just for moral support. Only 6 players really got any appreciable minutes.
Furthermore, depth doesn't just mean the # of players you have it also means the # of players who can contribute. Right now they literally only have 2 players they know for sure can contribute significantly.
I think what people are trying to say is temper expectations because they lost 50% of their scoring to the pros, graduation, & transfers. Just to get back to where they were last year they would be relying on 3 unproven offensive players in Meme, Dunbar, & Harris. A transfer who has never played D1 ball, and 4 freshman.
As highly rated as they are they will hit a wall and one can only hope they don't all hit the wall at the same time because the staff has put themselves in a position where they have no choice but to rely on them.
I'm pretty sure she is the one they are talking about. No one else on the team has numbers to be considered a good 3pt shooter.
I watched nearly all of their games last year and you never knew what you were gonna get and they were mostly upperclassmen. This year they have quite a few first year players at Tennessee so I'm not sure how people are so sure what is to come. That doesn't mean they will be bad. I'm just saying let's wait and see.
Interesting logic on Te'a. Is Alexa Middleton coming back, or are you saying she was of no value?
Te'a didn't play, so losing her only created a personnel loss...I don't think the loss will be that great with Te'a. The Fab Four has two very capable guards. Both can run the point as a natural position.
This freshman wall you speak of I do not think exist with this generation , Look at orgeon gaurd freshman year or maryland pg. or notre dame jackie young etc etc
