Y’all win…
Aside from this board, a lot of people (solely based on my Twitter (X) and Facebook groups, want Kara) and have been for some time. The recruiting is what seems to stick out for most. I used to be on that train, but watching that UCONN game and seeing remnants of our stagnant offense in theirs….I jumped off!I hope we have the answer by Friday need to get some portal players. See who is staying or leaving. I think were looking to pay at least 2 million maybe more for the right person. Throwing up a lot of names on twitter and Lawson is winning all the polls. I don't think she will be the one, but sure getting a lot of play on twitter. Also Wes Moore, Vic Schaeffer, and someone named Tomeika Reed.
Just say u don’t watch basketballWe all win. She didn’t deserve another year, and Pat’s program deserves better. I thank her for her efforts, as I’m sure she gave it her best, but you can’t keep getting a pass just because you played for Pat. Gotta have results. And when I say results, I mean sweet 16 every year, elite 8 most years, and final four or better around a third of the time. Or better.
On the men's side, the NCST coach was about to call the moving van until a miracle three against VA and that sparked a run. If Cardosa misses that shot, the LVs probably get a higher seed and perhaps the S16 and Kellie is back next year.Well, I disappear for a few meetings and come back to this. I must say that while I'm surprised, I'm certainly not disappointed. If not this year, it was all but written in the stars that it was going to happen next year. I do hope that they don't settle for an up and comer or unproven in the big leagues coach, and really swing for the fences for a big name. I also would not be opposed to Jeff Walz, but don't see it happening even if he was interested.
Maybe he talked to Evina? I do wonder if any players pulled a Mimi Collins when given a heads up (meaning that they were going to transfer immediately, not that they were going to play college ball until they were 30)
Her lack of awareness during the last 1.1 seconds cost them the game. When you think about it, it really did seal the deal. If she had won, then I don't think she would have been let go. The irony is that even though she tried her hardest to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, if Kamilla missed her lucky shot, then she would probably still have a job right now. But giving SC that glimmer of hope was the final nail in the coffin, I suppose.
Kara is super smart and great with the attention grabbing quotes. I will always be a fan, a great LV, but she just is not a big upgrade over Kellie. She would be a marginal improvement at best and it would not be worth the hullabaloo...Aside from this board, a lot of people (solely based on my Twitter (X) and Facebook groups, want Kara) and have been for some time.
