Given that poor high school recruiting was the most universally agreed upon problem for Kellie, i can't imagine that he would have wanted her to keep Coach Sam. She was supposed to be the lead in recruiting, right? Never close to living up to her reputation.

However it is replacing this coaching staff good freaking luck. One signee for the 2024 class, who can already enter the portal. Could be 8 potential player’s returning or less. With only one committe Nyla for ‘25. Then the roster goes down to only have 4 players on the roster. Even Holly didn’t have us this scarce in recruiting.

That's what I thought, but naturally Jon the sh*t catcher immediately got the blame. But it really doesn't matter, I can totally see KJH not going for the shuffle the deck chairs option again so soon for any or all of them. How would that have looked to her team and everyone next year? Ditched them, but I, who am thought to be the problem, am back. She probably correctly saw that offer as the beginning of the end and decided for the good of all to get it over with.

If I’m an SEC women’s basketball Coach, I am happy right now, (and yes, that includes DS and KM), because TN just lost a Coach that has beaten their team.

Coach Kellie has always done more with less, and anybody who has watched the games knows that, and our roster was improving. The last team to beat TN is now playing in the Final Four, so far. Yeah, we were really bad.

Right now, if I’m an AD from another school who‘s looking for a better Coach, I’m contacting Coach Kellie, holding all the money I can come up with, because, right now, Coach Kellie is one of the best Coaches available.

She my question now is, why can’t Kellie get the recruiting coordinator hire right? If NIL was the primary issue, who would’ve done a better job than Sam? She got the kids on campus. Two recruiting coordinators in your first five seasons - with the possibility of a third in year 6? It all goes back to Kellie, IMO.

not sure why , shes a great coach but i dont like when people get blinders . Shes a great coach and great recruiter at USC . They will be in the Big ten next year and they will own the west coast recruiting circle with UCLA as they take over the Big10 . Brenda freese is most likely the better candidate to be on her run out lol but i want VIC shaefer or Niele Ivey . Kara if she will have us lol

And that’s not exactly an honest graphic both Holly and Kellie were very obviously trending the wrong direction.

And lest they forget that UT ADs hands were almost tied after their fav, Miss Westbrook, made her infamous post game comments.

People bringing up the years of how long a coach got to prove themselves without winning ANYTHING are disrespecting pats legacy . She did those 38 some odd years to where we never have to be mediocre again and yet we have people willing to give 10 losing seasons to someone because they are cute with blue eyes..chileeee
