Lady she had 5 years to show she can win. She didn't and recruiting wasn't good. Not sure how she didn't get a fair shake.I feel like I’ve said this before but my feelings are not hurt. Why do men always attribute hurt feelings and too emotional to women that are disagreeing with them?
I hate that DW did not give Kellie the opportunity to recruit with adequate NIL and coach a team that lightened up a too heavy early season OOC and maybe didn’t have significant injuries every dang year. She deserved another year. DW caved.
We are in a very tough spot. People calling for Kellie to be fired failed to understand how this move looks to recruits and other coaches. It looks like the fan base and weak AD will chew up and spit out a coach that doesn’t win now regardless of lack of NIL and untimely injuries.
Ill take all my comments back regarding Jon. My interpretation and thoughts were based on the first version of MC’s article. That story has been altered to omit the piece about staff changes. Hell of a retraction.I think this poster is referring to an "insder" post which said "Jon was non-negotiable and didn't recruit". Which everyone already knew. Not sure if they thought this tied in to the Maria fake news. Sigh. It will never go away.
I'll stick with my intrepretation that even if assistants were an issue, I think KJH could correctly see from this that DW was starting to take control of the program, and that's probably what next year would have looked like. I give KJH big credit for cutting bait before a disasterous year occurred.
No....she was gone...period.So KJH was not given a path to stay if she made staff changes like the Tweets said? Or was the misinformation that DW wanted her to get rid of Jon? Heck I had 4 or 5 different tweets linking different stories that she had a path to stay if she wanted to stay but Jon was never mentioned.
