My impression is that the
vast majority here are hopeful that this will be a major positive turning point for the LVs. They are optimistic and excited.
I am aware of only one exception, and there are prolly a few others. I may have overlooked some. Or maybe some are on ignore.
Anyway, we can all hope that these too all come around when the excitement at the new coach and future are here. Being true fans, they will happy that their misgivings were never realized.
That said, everyone is rightfully saddened at the news that LVFL Kellie Harper got today. She deserves respect and honor as a someone who gave her all for Tennessee in two different capacities.
I think the best possible outcome would be for the LVs to come roaring back under a new coach. In recruiting, the portal, development, x's and o's, above all in wins and achievements, and reestablishing the brand and returning us to our rightful place in the sport.
And that when we get there, that one day Kellie Harper is invited back during a big game and honored both for her accomplishments as a player and for her efforts and devotion as a coach. Maybe along with her class, but make a special effort to make her feel a part, and let us enjoy that she is one of us.
