Chill my friend. Whether or not Kellie is at the helm does not effect your job, your health, your family or anything of real consequence. No reason to get so worked up. Posters have different views on Kellie but I think all (well most) want the best for the program, we just disagree on what constitutes "the best" under the current circumstances and constraints.Everyone of you Kellie lovers can kiss my a$$
I'm not a lawyer, but doesn't making them employees nullify Title IX entirely? To my understanding, it is wrong. All LV sports are seperate fm Spire and under the Lady Vol Boost Her Club. We don't know why, and it's clearly not working well. LVBHC do great with event based small change NIL. They're also able to swing into action in emegency and find major individual deals, most notably the one with Mercedes last spring that kept Rickea here. Forever grateful for that. But they seem to have no clue as to sustained, big donor fund development needed to fund guaranteed salary.
Looks like the best hope is for the salary/pay for play type funding to come from within the university so that TItle IX is in effect and they have to share the big bucks with women's sports.
Most of the Kellie haters just hate our team too.., constantly calling them D2 all year.. etc etcChill my friend. Ummmmm why wouldn't she want it for herself as well. I mean why would a coach want to win??? See how that sounds?! Sounds ridiculous. Of course she wanted that win, she also wanted that win for her team, her assistant coaches, the fans, and parents of the players. Also why is it an issue that someone who played at Tennessee for 4 years and have been coaching there for 5 years make a donation. Has no coach ever done that before? I do recall Coach Barnes paying his own assistant coaches more money out of his pocket a couple of years because he felt like they should get paid more. At the end of the day the higher ups will make the changes if need be. Go Lady VolsI think she’s in the hot seat for sure and has been most of the season.
Still suspect that’s why she and Jon made a big donation as well. Trying to save their jobs and giving part of the check back. Weak.
Her tears in the presser didn’t land with me. She said she wanted it so bad for “her team” but it really sounded like she wanted it so bad for herself. I’m over the mediocrity she allows, that’s why we get so much up and down play.

We don't really know yet. That last play in the SC game would probably tilt me to fire her if I was AD. What kind of defense was that? You have five on four just guard them the best you can. No one gets a open look, no one.I felt this was Harper's do or die year. The results were a small step backwards in terms of record and performance on the court. HW didn't have the wheels come off suddenly but if Harper loses in the first or second round, it's a repeat of the trajectory of the previous coach.
I predict she's back next year despite the early struggles and unless she pulls a rabbit out of the portal, next year's team won't be as good as this one. If Spears and Wells return, with Cooper added in, that's not a terrible backcourt but the frontcourt will need at least one reinforcement.
For the 8 millionth time, and I know you know this, the "defense" was set exactly the way Kellie wanted it. You can watch her precisely positioning them. She even had a few seconds to spare before the throw in. See video above. She clearly didn’t want to win enough to call a timeout and make sure her defense was set.
iif Charlie's bracket holds Maryland and Texas are the teams standing in THE Way of Three straightDon't think these PEOPLE want Kellie dragged out in handcuffs.
Though these PEOPLE would like South Carolina not too be 6 games better in conference during regular season.
For these PEOPLE who want to keep Kellie Harper cool, though in 2 years if these same PEOPLE come on her bitching about her. I f I'm still living I will be the first to remind you , this is who you wanted as Head Coach..
Now let's hope for the best in the bracket revealing Sunday.
Have a wonderful day, the Men play at 1p.m., hopefully Tennessee can get through that game without some fans pissing and moaning.
That's good if Tennessee makes EE, every hater as youns lol call them would be estatic.iif Charlie's bracket holds Maryland and Texas are the teams standing in THE Way of Three straight
Sweet Sixteen NCAA tournament
Teams who Tennessee would face in sweet sixteen look weaker than than Texas but I know much about North Carolina state third seed NCAA
Still see a contract extension coming if Tennessee makes Sweet Sixteen NCAA tournament
And if they get past sweet sixteen NCAA tournament raise to boot.
I'm not a sunshine pumper, a Kellie hater or lover. Just think we should at least be fair. Comment was directed to another poster who said Kellie didn't call a t.o. to set D because she didn't care enough about winning. Which I know that poster knows isn't true.Oh BTW before the Sunshine Pumpers come at me like Captain Know It All . Take a lap through whole forum, I'm neither a Kellie lover or a Kellie Hater.
Now back to regularly scheduled programming.
WAS Powell dealing with a hand injury bugging her?I'm not a sunshine pumper, a Kellie hater or lover. Just think we should at least be fair.
