Coaches and AD can advocate for the NIL collective. Their support and ability to generate enthusiasm is a key piece most places.

That is really a ridiculous comment. Most of the wins those lower teams in the SEC were due to a very weak non-conference, mostly mid major teams. Look at Vandy for example, they were undefeated or had 1 loss coming into SEC season and barely won a game in league. So comparing overall records in SEC makes no sense and is really irrelevant.

This is a problem now that collectives can directly contact high school athletes directly. If they have nothing to offer them then this collective now serves no purpose. We have to get something better that deep pocket people can support or Kellie is gone after next season cause 2025 is a crucial recruiting class.

I did not compare win loss records at all. I just said the bottom 75% of the SEC was not very good.

How do you think Kim did it? You have to socialize, make friends and win influence. People aren’t just going to shell out money to a mid-grade coach with her hand out begging.

I've heard about a couple players that are ranked in the 40's of the Hoopgurlz 100 that might be leaning Lady Vols. We already have number 16 Nyla brooks committed. Were in the top five of several others, but we've been there before and struck out in both the last two years.

I don't see a way she would be coming back if another season like this one. Over half the fans want her fired now and that if she is getting another season it would have to go far better than what happened this season. If she makes it past Friday which one person said was the day she would be fired then guess we'll see her on a short leash next season.

The portal has to be her best friend cause JMO what she has coming back is not better than what she had this season.

Like Joan Cronan. Joan could schmooze and get the check. But, we needed to disband the women’s athletic department.

So much junk in here. Who says over half the fans want her gone? Some ridiculous poll that attracts the miserable minority?
Who is this all knowing person with a Friday dooms day? Why would anyone believe that or quote such crap?
I am so sick of a very few”fans” constantly disparaging our coachs and our players. Get outside, enjoy a pretty day. Some of the folks on here now seem to have a personal obsession with seeing Kellie fired. It’s like their own ego is wrapped up in being right about Kellie being fired. I guarantee there were a couple of posters on here who were thrilled with our loss to NC St because maybe then they could be right about Kellie (VXX will need therapy when Kellie rolls out the ball for first practice next fall).

Her offense is dismal always has been , defense yes they got it dirty and all but she cannot coach a team to a national championship with that offensive scheme she continues to use sorry. Plus i dont think she can recruit neither not at an elite level.

Not just this board, twitter, facebook it is just a reality. Looks like she is getting another year so we can prevail through next season.

Social media, especially twitter and unfortunately this site are often cesspools. I never look at Facebook so I can’t comment on it.
I often for fun ask folks whether society is better or worse because of social media. Virtually 100% of the time the answer is worse. All of these folks use social media but realize the lure of heading down rabbit holes (time sucks) and the amount of just deliberate misinformation that is put out there. Sometimes I feel like all the junk you have to wade through on this site to get to the interesting, informative, rational posts is barely worth it. Not diminishing everyone’s space on here to express opinions but my favorite post involve information, data, discussions about strategy from folks on here who really know basketball. Putting the soapbox away now! 😬

It could be a chicken or egg problem, Kellie can’t excel without more NIL $ and she can’t get more NIL $ until she makes A FF…

Twitter is the worst this site is tame compared to it sometimes. Just be happy she is getting another year to succeed. Cause words don't matter from people here doing the firing some of them fire every coach after every loss. Barnes has his firing thread as well. I used to try to protest them all now I just let them have their say cause the board is free speech and as long as they stay within the board rules are free to say what they please.
