John Adams thinks if wheels fail offAnd we aren’t a prestigious university…. Some will pass the money for a chance to say they went to Duke Harvard Stanford ucla
Kara and Kellie are in similar positions. Both were taking new jobs during covid. That situation is very different from an established coach who has his/her recruiting connections in place. Kellie inherited a program in a more dismal state but she had more coaching experience.
Kellie has had higher conference finishes and 2 S16 to Kara's one (this season).
One could make a case that both have done pretty well under the circumstances. Duke does seem to be trending better but, we won't know for sure, until the transfer portal dust has settled.
My way?John Adams thinks if wheels fail off
He HHope they fired Kellie next year
Think he said they should fire Kellie if Next year gets worse.
Kellie might kept her job worse record and make NCAA tournament
If she got some more recuits like she's has in her 25 / 27 classes.
John Adams waiting to see if they can turn it around
You just have to wait like John
Don't think you're getting your way this year
If she was gonna be fired it would have happened. It doesn’t pay to be slow in this market… esp with the portal…So when does the moving truck arrive for the Harper’s? Still very hopeful they are out tomorrow. Still suspect they get one more year.
Would like some sort of announcement from the athletics department to quell the speculation.
I agree that the past 5 years have been a bit testy to say the least.Kellie has literally coached during the most unstable era of D1 SPORTS ever…
In her 5 years she’s had to navigate:
COVID-19
-no postseason
-a year without fans
-no in person recruiting for almost 2 years
-extra year of eligibility
ONE TIME FREE TRANSFER
TRANSFER PORTAL
5TH (6TH AND 7TH) YEARS
NIL/COLLECTIVES
Any ONE of these issues is literally WORLD CHANGING to the face of sports. SHES DEALT WITH ALL in 5 years!!! (And she had to do it adjusting to a terrible last year of Holly.)
Why do people think so many coaches are retiring/quitting? Esp in the men’s side. It’s not the same game. It’s not Pats era or Genos era or even the Sabrina Inoescu era…
Even if u want her gone please have nuance… like I said most don’t watch the sport or have any idea how ridiculous their demands for a coach are.

The men’s success wouldn’t be a reason to not be looking for ur next coachNo reason at this time to offset focus on the men's NCAA quest.
Maybe good for KJH as well giving her time to present "her plan forward"... or for an AD to look who is still coaching in the women's tourney (Inc assistant coaches who might enhance our staff).
Who knows. Social media immediacy has made too many of us fans more impatient.

He said it was related to NIL funding. What's been decided?
Anxious to see the moving van pull up and blow up their kids' world? This is the gravedancing I just can't understand. So when does the moving truck arrive for the Harper’s? Still very hopeful they are out tomorrow. Still suspect they get one more year.

You absolutely know @EarlVolFan will continue coy. What's been decided?
I didn't like Holly W half as much and thought she was a lot worse coach but I felt nothing but sorry for her. When KJH came here I said my biggest hope was that she not become the next Holly. I know they get alot of money, but public failure at your dream job at your alma matar doesn't exactly send me into hysterical laughter.I know! Who wishes that sort of thing on anyone?!? Some folks want to be right so badly they lose their minds.
Tough sledding for Danny. Don’t know if any would have been available for UT:Look at the Notre Dame transfer of coaching no drop offs still elite what did we miss or do wrong >?? 2 strikes and were still not there , while teams like ND , Texas , LSU strike gold with 1 change.
We should be a better program and a better team than Duke, UNC, Va. Tech, Indiana, Iowa and all the programs that have won nothing
in WBB while we have eight national titles. Harper and her staff SHOULD be capitalizing and leveraging on our pedigree, on our tradition--just as, on the men's side, UNC, Duke, Kansas and UConn capitalize and leverage their tradition year and year. She hasn't.
And if Harper can't take advantage of our pedigree, then we need to find a coach who can. Yes, we squandered some of our program cachet during the Warlick years--made a bad hire--and perhaps that has made climbing back up the ladder more challenging. But the tradition and pedigree are still there; they haven't gone anywhere. The banners still hang from the ceiling. The tradition is an asset that other programs don't have, and we need a coach who can take advantage of it, make something of it. That was the goal, and should have been the goal, when Harper was hired. But there's been almost no real progress. We lose to almost every quality team we play. Are we supposed to be pleased that she has done about the same as Lawson at Duke--a relatively inexperienced coach at a program with no tradition? That would be like fans of the Kansas men's program being pleased that their coach as done as well as the relatively new coach at Mississippi State. A lower perfornance level over the last many years should not lower expections or our standard. We muddle along, year after year. We're an also-ran, and that should not be acceptable.
