He was the fastest man in the NFL at like 40. He was also a All-American in track while in college. When I think of Deion Sanders, I think of his incredibly long and graceful strides. He would show an extra gear, after you thought he had already shown you his extra gear. Fastest football player ever... with the possible exception of Darrell Green.
He is the four-time winner of the NFL's Fastest Man competition,[5] and the only undefeated multiple winner in NFL history.[12] Green is rumored to have the fastest recorded 40 yard dash time of 4.09, which he is said to have run consistently in Washington's 1986 training camp. Green was in the news on February 16, 2010, his 50th birthday, for reportedly running a 4.43-second 40-yard dash
They have such an easy schedule and having 2 of the best players in CFB that’s a recipe for success. I’ll be anxious to how things are without Travis Hunter and even Shedeur but ya only play the people on your scheduleHe’s just pointing out how wrong some folks were about Deion’s ability to turn around CU’s program.
CU exceeded expectations this season after they were left for dead after barely beating NDSU.
Barring a complete collapse they still make a bowl game, which hasn’t happened in Boulder for quite some time.
I take back that you seem like an ok guy. Cowboys, really BB? Disgusting. Braves are good. Keep it in the ATL and go with the Falcons. They’re never a threat to anyone but themselves. For some reason you became defensive when I said that you seemed invested in Deion Sanders/Colorado football's success, and asked why. There was no reason for that. I meant nothing by it. There is nothing wrong with being a fan of either/or both. As a lifelong Cowboys and Braves fan, I loved Deion as an athlete.
As a Falcons fan he brought an energy to that team and attention they hadn’t seen. Plus, at the same time, he helped get them to the playoffs (‘91 I believe) and that was quite the accomplishment back then. That was way back when they were an NFC West team with the Rams, the hated Niners and the Aints. Fun times. When I think of Deion Sanders, I think of his incredibly long and graceful strides. As of right now .... the 2024 Dallas Cowboys are the worst home team in NFL history. They are 0-5 in Jerry World, and they have been outscored by an average of 23 points per game. The average score is 37-14 in favor of their opponent, when they have played at home this season.I take back that you seem like an ok guy. Cowboys, really BB? Disgusting. Braves are good. That’s just crazy. I lived out in Arlington a couple years and it just so happened the Falcons opened the season in Dallas so I bought tix. This was before the new stadium. The Falcons did win somehow but I was still not happy as I really wanted to see Michael Vick play and he didn’t as he got hurt in preseason. I hope all is well with you BB!As of right now .... the 2024 Dallas Cowboys are the worst home team in NFL history. Also, if the Braves had won the 1992 World Series vs the Blue Jays, Deion would have probably been the MVP. He was great in that series. As a Falcons fan he brought an energy to that team and attention they hadn’t seen. The ‘92 NLCS is still probably the best series I’ve ever watched. Too bad it didn’t work out against the Jays. The ‘91 WS would’ve taken the cake if it weren’t for damn Jack Morris. That was a great series though. I still have a copy of the paper showing Greg Olson jumping in Smoltz’s arms when they clinched the division going worst to first in ‘91. I grew up in the Atlanta area and loved Dale Murphy (my favorite player as a kid), Bob Horner, Glen Hubbard, etc. and they always sucked until ‘91 changed it all. As a Braves and Falcons fan and Deion playing for both I’ve always liked Neon. Like him or not, what he’s done at Colorado is impressive and they’re exciting. Yes they’ve played an easy schedule but who wouldn’t want to see Hunter and Shedeur go up against someone like Penn State? I’d watch. Also, if the Braves had won the 1992 World Series vs the Blue Jays, Deion would have probably been the MVP. He was great in that series.
Francisco Cabrera! LOL. Literally, a one hit wonder. The ‘92 NLCS is still probably the best series I’ve ever watched. Too bad it didn’t work out against the Jays. Honestly, I'm not sure we could beat them right now. He's done a heckuva job.I will have to eat crow on Sanders, he's turned them around. Even earlier this season I thought it was going to be same ol. I still don't really want them to win the B12 though because the hype going into their playoff game will be Bronny James level....though at least this one would be earned.
I'm pretty sure we would beat CU. They are good for their conference and a legit top 25 team.. but I think people underestimate how competitive SEC football is from top to bottom. Miss State, Vandy, Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas may been Auburn would give all but the top 2 or 3 big12, big10, ACC teams fits.Honestly, I'm not sure we could beat them right now. He's done a heckuva job.
