In last year's NCAAs, the LVs beat Arizona State, the #2 seed in their region, on ASU's home floor. The LVs also throttled #3 seed Ohio State in the Sweet 16. What do you consider a significant game? Just the ones they lose?

Remember the days when we called the second game of the NCAA tournament "automatic" instead of "significant game"......?

I think people are living in the past. Teams are better , coaches are better. So yes a second round game is big. Back in the day the sweet 16 game was a given for a number one seed , look what happen to South Carolina.

Yeah, a whole two years ago when we were a #2 seed. A significant game is against a highly ranked opponent. And after the debacle of last season we deserved to be playing a highly ranked team in the second round. And to the LVs credit, they won that game.

Blah blah blah and then,,, blah

I imagine playing for you would be as formidable a task as reading your constant barrage.

If you permit excuses for a bad game/season/life, it can only be because you use them.

I don't.
I don't know you and probably never will.
But I am convinced I could out-coach you.

These posters you constantly barrage with demeaning prose are not minions, they are fans of the lady vols and important people to this site,, and would be missed if they weren't around...You on the other hand... Yawn,, Did you leave yet?

Is he gone?

You seem mad that I've proven my point that if you were as good as you say you'd be on someone's radar. Seeing how you're not, tells more of a story than any of the words coming out your pathetic mouth. Out coach me??? Haha yeah okay guy! I probably should respect my elders because you sound like you are a half year away from the grave but I hope you make it to this level one day soon so I can finally critic your every decision. I doubt you ever will but let's keep hope alive!

I am more than lobbying, mickey, I am working towards that goal. I am in the sight of every one of the staff in less than a year. I have worked out one and been asked for by another player. Can you make that same claim?.. Didn't think so.

I do have friends and colleagues here, but no butt-buddies. Not even sure what that means...But it sure sounds homophobic. As a coach, I wouldn't go throwing around slurs like that.

Working out a (meaning singular) player is your claim to fame?? Boy, you have made it big time! My comment of being butt buddies had nothing to do with sexual orientation. But of course an uninformed person such as yourself would think so. Do us all a favor and catch a clue old man.

I looked back through your postings. Nearly every word, on several threads, are argumentative. You've proven nothing except that you love to argue. Not a great attribute for a coach.

I eat, sleep and drink competition, but I loathe confrontations. That is why I am good at them.

Your own words..."Out coach me??? Haha yeah okay guy!"...

Well, you got me there. I don't know how to respond to" Haha yeah okay guy!"

I look forward to your criticisms...
For if you get the chance to criticize me...It means, I made it.

Not just "a player" (You even do that) , a lady vol, one of the elite athletes chosen to represent UT... And I was asked for more workouts. That IS quite a claim.

You are a very sad man, MIke.
Sad indeed.

Holly digging herself out of the crappy situation SHE put the team in isn't a "credit" at all, especially for a team that was expected to be one of the top four in the country.

At Tennessee, playing into the second weekend of the tournament is the expectation. Period.

Yeah, let's forget about the players who busted their butts all year and came together to play a good game against a top opponent. For you it's all about Holly.

Gule you wish. Unlike most of you I don't have to validate my accomplishments before keyboard thugs. As long as my student-athletes and I know what we have accomplished together that's credit enough!

Holly has gotten injury ridden teams to the game right before the FF for how many years now....I think she can sell that and the fact that a recruit can be the one to get us over that hump and restore UT's return as a national powerhouse. She's not as bad of a coach people try to make her out to be. Did Dawn or Muffet or Walz make it to the EE game last year or no?

i would love for CHW to have a healthy team for 1 year and it isn't going to be this year either unfortunately
