Coaching is the Issue

Is coaching a problem? Yes. But let’s face facts. Many of our players just aren’t that good. Now one could say that’s due to coaching but I am not seeing execution at a high level. That’s on the player.

Do you not understand our deficiencies at LB? A coaching change does nothing for that. Playing zone because the LBs can't cover man is what it is. Until we can recruit or grab an elite LB from the portal, it is what it is. Carter us good, but should be an end. Tealander is a tweener. Pili getting hurt was a blow. We've not had an elite LB since Mayo.
Byron Young was pretty good imo

Pretty rich coming from someone who misuses the term allegory.
A picture with a bigger moral and hidden meaning that uses a hypothetical comparison to convey a deeper, ironic commentary about the pessimism of Tennessee fans?By juxtaposing Tennessee, an "A-tier team that made the playoffs," with WVU, a team often regarded as less successful in recent years, my statement absolutely and sarcastically exaggerates the perceived shortcomings of Tennessee to highlight how unwarranted or overblown the criticism may seem.

I can make another about you being a dumbass if you want. Voltards are so tiresome

Figured that would shut down the debate. If it’s a good excuse for us, it goes for everyone else too.
Lol your reply didn’t deserve a response. It made no sense. This one does. Facts are AG went 4-4 in the AAC and 6-6 overall. He scored 10 points vs Tulane, 3 vs Memphis, 7 vs Navy, lost to Rice. He’s a good coach but not the offensive genius some on here thinks he is.

We are no where near as talented as Ohio state. Nick Saban coaching us tonight wouldn’t have helped. The players on that field are the reason we aren’t on the level we think we are. Tonight was painfully obvious of that.
Exactly!!!. We need immediate help!!!!! Hit the portal HARD!!!!

Oh, you gonna tell me you were communicating some sort of sophisticated examination of moral behavior with your little joke?

Obviously, I misread your incredibly witty and brilliant bit of humor. However shall I sleep tonight? One does wonder.

But being a jerk about it? That was all you. Tiresome indeed.

In his second year. Doesn’t have his players yet. Needs 4 full recruiting cycles. It’s the Tennessee way. 😂. Just not for anyone else.

Recruiting needs to be better.

Coaching needs to be better.

Recruiting may be the bigger hurdle but coaching was the bigger problem tonight. Pretty much across the board. Well coached teams don’t get blown out.

Watched the Skycam broadcast tonight because I just cannot stand listening to Fowler and Herbstreit, especially when we struggle. Skycam is a different perspective and two things were obvious:
1. Our receivers do not get open - bad routes, bad scheme, I don’t know but there was nothing
2. OSU routinely schemed multiple receivers open and QB had his choice.

Heupel and his staff still need at least 3 more solid recruiting classes to catch up with teams like Ohio State.

Eleven of the twelve “best” teams in the country are going to end the season with a loss. Gonna be a lot of coaches “fard” this off season.

Lack of enough elite talent is the problem. How many times have we changed coaches only to be right back complaining about losses?
