I realize that most of you think it is pointless and ridiculous to get worked up about a foul moth, but he really is a bad cultural fit, just like O'Neill was. If we hire an unlikeable jerk for a coach, he better flat be a winner.

It's about quantity and the ability to censor yourself. There is a difference in cursing in anger or to make a point and cursing proudly and prolifically at all times.

Pearl had to go, but the ability to embrace and be embraced by the fans is a good thing. This is a culturally straight-laced area. Did you notice how many fans showed up late to the Kentucky game on Sunday. That was no coincidence.
