The community as a whole is oppressing itself. A kid of any color can go to school, work hard, get a degree in something that has a demand and earn money. There is not some grand white conspiracy to keep the community poor. It is a cultural problem. It is a personal responsibility problem. The victim mentality will get one nowhere in life. One acts like a victim, thinks like a victim, make excuses like a victim, guess what? You'll be a victim, but you'll be victimizing yourself.

It's not his ****ing job to do things for black people. It's black peoples job to do something for themselves. The man is president and should be an inspiration of how to live the American Dream and succeed, but all people do is ***** about some **** they should get for free. **** that. See many Indians, Arabs, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Pakistanis, and yes Africans come here and do well for themselves. The difference is they come here realizing there's opportunities and take advantage of them.

There were 300,000 Chinese in California by 1880.....10% of the population. I missed the civil rights movement in 1880.

I typically don't do this, because I'm often sympathetic to the experience and viewpoints of minorities in our country, understanding that I can't possibly put myself in their shoes.

But, you, sir, are not only inaccurate, you're also way out of line. As others have said, you're also a bigot at best and most likely a racist.

You enjoy the benefits and pleasures (like the Internet) of a dynamic, diverse society, yet you -quite wrongly - believe this merely the result of "white rape" and the product of black labor.

We don't need harmful ideas like your own in our society, just like we don't need the harmful ideas of some posters who claim "black people do absolutely nothing to help themselves" either. Both of your sects make stewarding this republic much more of a hell than it should be.

Unfortunately there is somewhat of a myth here. There are many successful Asian Americans but there is also a huge number living in poverty.

You were doing so well until this. If black people help themselves with good decisions and personal responsibility resulting in success they're disowned by other black people for being Uncle Toms and such. By not accepting responsibility for their own lives they're holding themselves and others in the community back.

No demographic or group is perfect or without faults. However, by just about any metric, Asians have their **** together compared to other demographics/groups.
