Colin Kaepernick sits during national anthem

What are you basing this opinion on?

11 out of 16 NFL games were 1 score finishes.

6 of the top 25 NCAAF teams played in 1 score games last week.

Just because a game is close doesn't mean it was a good game.

The quality of play is just really poor right now. Also there is a lack of superstar talents in the league.

They were good games. I watched them all.

The quality is great. IDK what you mean by the quality being poor. Every year the skill level and athletic talent gets better and better. That might be why you think there is a lack of superstars. It's harder to stand out when the average competition level is so high. These dudes are so good.

Didn't Brainerd used to be the rebels and when they made it a "black" school they change the mascot to a black panther? So it seems they've already made their statement in racism. What's scary is that adults are encouraging these kids to do this, and the kids have no idea what they're doing. They're just imitating the big kids.

There is a straightforward solution. Eliminate all pregame festivities - no nation anthem, etc. AND at the same time eliminate all halftime festivities too. Nothing to protest, but no reward for spoiling things either. Apply it to all sporting activities from pros on down; take away the platform for the prima donnas. Fans sitting on their hands with nothing to do at halftime might have a message for the clowns who started it all.

Let's just give up on culture entirely

Ya know if he is really wanting to bring to light social injustice then maybe he should start with the NFL and NBA. Maybe its time to make sure that the racial make up of the leagues accurately matches the racial make up of the USA? You know, to make sure to eliminate any one group from receiving a disproportionate piece of the professional sports pie this helping to promote racial synergy that better reflects the true America...

But wouldn't those quotas giving preference to one group over another be racist?

Peer pressure does wonders when legitimate authority doesn't really have a good solution to a problem. The military has used it very effectively - squeeze everyone and offenders do get the message. It takes "free speech" to a whole new level.

Oh, and one other thing; it would actually be nice not hearing some self impressed twerp butchering the national anthem. But then I'm a traditionalist on that point, too.

Tradistionalist=different=enemy

Let everyone **** on America(tradition, values) and then demonize anyone protesting...

Sad days...

I might have had a chance if the NFL practiced affirmative action.

No. As long as the make up reflects the actual diverse make up of the USA, it isn't racist.

What's racist is including more of one group to the point that they are over represented.

This is a concept that's lost on all SJW's and liberal idiots.

Sorry, that was sarcasm. A little reverse affirmative action when the quotas work the "wrong" way would be lots of fun. Can you imagine the squawking over a taste of what many of the rest of us see daily.

Wait... his original grievance was about people being above the law and doing things that would normally get most civilians in trouble or in jail. He particularly named cops (a protected class on the right) and Hillary Clinton (a representative of a protected class on the left).

Where are you guys drawing this racial angle?

Thats actually the only part of the whole thing I agree with.

So this guy is praised for freedom of speech, yet a white baseball player gets suspended for his. For saying the rioters should be jailed and such.
