Colin Kaepernick sits during national anthem

He has a protected right to choose not to stand and participate, JW's do the same. I just wish those that disagree with his choices in this matter, were granted the same latitude of respect for opinion. Disagree with a left opinion and the degree of pain cannot be imagined, bitter venomous gushings of molten anger.

You know you're wrong when Snoop says you're a hypocrit.

Snoop Dogg slams Colin Kaepernick for Castro praise, says choose between football, revolution | Fox News

Snoop Dogg just put Colin Kaepernick in his dog house, calling the San Francisco 49ers quarterback a hypocrite for protesting social injustice while praising late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, and advising he choose between football and his ongoing National Anthem protest.

"He's sort of kind of hypocritical in so many words because he's pushing this, but at the same time he’s giving credit for this and this is the same abuse that [Cubans] been taking" the rapper said on Fox Sports 1's "Undisputed."

Snoop Dogg added, "So it makes you hypocritical to be able to speak on this topic and that topic."

Interestingly, despite all these distractions, CK is playing pretty well. His team is garbage, but he's playing smart and making plays.

Colin Kaepernick has put his nearly $3 million Bay Area home up for sale, and the 49ers want you to know that has nothing to do with his future with San Francisco.

Kaepernick said through a team spokesman that the decision to sell his home is “an investment decision.” The 49ers invested in Kaepernick with a contract that kept the anthem-protesting quarterback on their roster until 2020, but in October the 49ers and Kaepernick decided to scrap that deal in favor of a new contract which gave the quarterback only one more year yet also gave Kaepernick the ability to void that year and become a free agent if he chooses.

On his Thursday Fox Sports 1 radio show, Colin Cowherd slammed quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s courage for choosing to end his national anthem protest now that he is looking for a job in the NFL, calling the quarterback a “sellout.”

Cowherd questioned not only the fact that Kaepernick’s decision to stop his protest was leaked to the media but also the timing for him to stop kneeling.

Kaepernick believes now he’s made real change, which that is at best debatable. Now that he’s a free agent, what happened to your altruism? What happened to your this is long term? What happened to your strong belief? Now that you’re on the market and you still want to get paid, now, now you won’t kneel for the anthem. It’s funny how it leaked. you didn’t have to announce this, but what do I tell you, folks? The only stories that leak are stories somebody wants to leak, OK?

BLM isn't attacking white people. There are extreme outliers in every political movement.

If you think BLM orchestrated the police shooting in Dallas, then that's ridiculous.

It's like taking the old dude at the Trump rally who cold cocked a black guy and saying "Trump supporters are attacking black people".

Colin Kaepernick is a perfect example of how your actions have repercussions. Now granted his best days are behind him as a QB but teams don't wanna deal with this headache. He had every right to do what he did but does he now think it was all worth it when he can't get a job?

Just saw this on fake sportscenter with the caption "At least he's standing". Ha. Good stuff.

Also, I liked the Fresh Prince. Just saying.

I'm not sure some people realize how making an NFL roster works...

http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2017/08/20/kaepernick-supporters-call-for-nfl-boycott.html

Controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick deserves a chance to continue his NFL career, his supporters said Saturday.

Those backers include the NAACP and current and former members of the New York City Police Department, including famed corruption fighter Frank Serpico.

The NAACP called for a boycott of NFL games until Kaepernick gets an equal opportunity at making a roster for the upcoming season.

“There will be no football in the state of Georgia if Colin Kaepernick is not on a training camp roster and given an opportunity to pursue his career,” Gerald Griggs of the Atlanta NAACP told Fox 5.

Kaepernick has been struggling to find a new team since opting out of his contract after last season.

So according to the NAACP, there will be no football in the state of Georgia. So we won't be playing there in a few weeks and UGA is canceling all their home games and playing them all on the road. interesting.

I thought the comment about the "we'll have a big tailgate party and not go in!" was funny.

Not realizing that parking is paid parking and first come, first serve. Still not going to change the fact others will buy tickets and still show up.

I've never seen so many grown ups act like 2 yo crybabies in my life.

If teams don't want the guy so what....get a damn life crybabies.

Colin could go play in the CFL if he wants or the Area Football League.

Jerry Jones has come out publicly and stated that ALL Dallas Cowboys will stand and show respect to the US Flag and National Anthem or they will no longer be Cowboys. I fully expect more NFL owners to follow suit.

Good job Jones.

Individuals have a right to make choices. Society has forgotten the part about being man enough to deal with the consequences of those choices.

NAACP is now reduced to fighting for the cause of a millionaire that can't get a job in a place where there is no dsicrimination.

Screw Colin and the NAACP..... let them boycott. He's an avg QB at best and through his own actions became a HUGE distraction for the 49'ers....
He's all about equality .... well.... he's getting treated just like some avg at best white QB that would have done the same thing. The Castro shirt and pigs socks was a complete idiotic move. Sounding like he had no clue what he was talking about when asked why he was doing what he was doing didn't help either.

Marshawn Lynch is sitting during the national anthem, and somehow still has a job. Which proves if a team thinks you're of value, they will sign you.

I mean look at Michael Vick. Who ever thought he would be back in the NFL?

The NAACP should surely be able to find more important causes than a millionaire with hurt feelings.
