Colin Kaepernick sits during national anthem

C'mon, joe. Surely, you see the difference.

I don't think a police related fatality is anything that should crack someone up.

I agree it's no laughing matter, I'm just saying where are the cries for his freedom of speech. And the quarterback says he backs BLM, which is attacking white people. I get what you're saying, I just hate seeing one praised for his freedom, and another punished.

I can agree with this sentiment. That is the entire point about the 1st Amendment. Sometimes, people will say or do something that will offend you or make you feel uncomfortable. As long as they don't violate your rights in the process, I think we should leave both of these guys alone.

BLM isn't attacking white people. There are extreme outliers in every political movement.

If you think BLM orchestrated the police shooting in Dallas, then that's ridiculous.

The entire crowd, all of them in North Carolina, was shouting "what do we want? Dead cops now!" That's more than a few bad apples. The whole barrel thinks that way.

Oh, and the head honcho, the leader of BLM tweeted he supported everything done there. That includes, stealing, burning, attacking white people, trying to throw the white guy a crowd of them beat up into a fire, etc. I'm not trying to argue you, but you've obviously missed a lot of the stories out of North Carolina. BLM supports, and participates in this stuff.

We can't have men and women like that in our nation's military. The Russkies will eat us alive if we give ourselves over to more of this kind of thing, as well as the transgender and sex re-alignment surgery thing.

As I've said for a long time, I'm a very understanding man, who often takes the "live and let live" approach, but not when it comes to the military. Some values just trump others, and the military conforming to a more traditional construct of personal character and identifications is critical. They don't need distractions when learning, training, or fighting.

I wonder which way this idiots leans.

If someone, including a white person, believes in some construct of racial justice so strongly as to risk personal harm to his or herself by protesting, then, by all means he or she must do what is in his or her conscience. But I do not understand why any white bystander - any white person just there to be there - would go to any of these protests/riots. You're just inviting a big ole' can of whoop ass to be opened up on you, if not even worse.

I have been on record with the transgender thing not being a thing IMO. When it comes to this though, it is very cut and dry that when you wear the uniform, you represent more than yourself and your own personal views go out the window.

Wait... his original grievance was about people being above the law and doing things that would normally get most civilians in trouble or in jail. He particularly named cops (a protected class on the right) and Hillary Clinton (a representative of a protected class on the left).

Where are you guys drawing this racial angle?

We should all take a knee in solidarity with Colin until Hillary is put behind bars...

There will be no justice in this land until then.

I think it's coming from statements similar to these.

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."
