Colin Kaepernick sits during national anthem

So according to the NAACP, there will be no football in the state of Georgia. So we won't be playing there in a few weeks and UGA is canceling all their home games and playing them all on the road. interesting.

Kind of counterproductive right?

No Football in Georgia = Atlanta = Falcons = 30-40 black guys on that team don't have a job so we can boycott for one.

Yeah makes sense.

Although now that I think about it, Kaepernick is only half black. So the Falcons will only play one half of football. So... nothing is going to change.

ESPN is the reason there is a circus surrounding Kap and then they point the finger at NFL owners for not wanting to deal with the circus.

This is like the mirror reflection of Tebow and people claiming his Christianity-on-his-sleeve was getting him blackballed.

Actually, most people realized Tebow sucked and couldn't make a roster. Not because of his religion.

The problem is, Kap sucks and can't make a roster. Hence, it's racially motivated and because he took a knee.

So much potential here.. :)

He probably could make a roster, but his massive distraction baggage outweighs the positives of being an average quarterback.

He could make his opinions known off the field. But taking a stance against the national anthem on the field amongts players and fans is too much. Apparently nobody thinks he's good enough to overcome the crazy that he'd bring to a team.

Tebow was most definitely good enough to make an NFL roster. How many backups in the NFL have started 14+ games and have a winning record? Are there any? He even has a playoff win. He wasn't good enough to deal with the media circus.

Not knocking Tebow, but I'm not sure if he truly was an upper tier NFL QB. Serviceable backup? Definitely. Going to set the world on fire? Never. Don't get me wrong, I think the world of that guy, but I'm not sure his style of play was never going to be the right "fit" for the NFL. We can debate it all day long and probably never agree.

Having said that to say this, I would like to have seen how much better he could have performed had Denver kept him and he was behind Peyton for a couple of years.

His ceiling is very low. He will never win you a Super Bowl no matter how good the team is, but compared to most backup QB's, he gives you a good chance to win. If you're trying to develop a 2nd stringer into a starter, than you don't want Tebow. If you want a 2-3 wins when Roethelisberger gets hurt, Tebow is a great option.

Dobbs...don't hate on the Tennessee boys.

Anyway, that was kind of the point I was making, though I think there are enough QBs coming out of college with better arms to take up the #2 and 3 positions on any rosters. Tebow was more or less recruited/drafted over.

I think at this point Steelers are starting to look for a replacement for Big Ben, but when Tebow was looking for a new home, Dobbs was probably still in HS.

George Foreman grilled Colin Kaepernick and Kevin Durant about their lack of patriotism.

The former heavyweight champion boxer and grill salesman slammed Kaepernick and Durant on the "Offended America" podcast for not being patriotic, and lauded President Trump's performance as commander-in-chief.

"(Kaepernick and Durant) haven't been brought up with people who were patriotic to even point them in the right direction," Foreman stated, referencing Kaepernick's National Anthem protests and Durant's refusal to visit the White House.

"Some of them are trying to make a point, it's like look at me, I'm trying to say something. You gotta respect that, too," he continued.

Foreman also explained how many people died to allow for the privilege of reciting the National Anthem.

The grilling entrepreneur praised Trump for his business skills, noting POTUS pulled him out of bankruptcy by putting on the pay-per-view fight between him and Evander Holyfield in 1991.

"I was broke, too. Bankrupt. Put me back, he was part of writing those checks, so I could be on the wealthy side again. So I'll always be grateful to the entrepreneur Donald Trump," he said. "And now President Donald Trump."

"He's a good President. A lot of people don't like him, but evidently more do, because he was elected President of the United States."
Foreman also noted that he almost wasn't able to win the fight that night because Trump gave him such great meals and accommodations ahead of the event.

Oh you found a black guy. Good for you.

What the heck?

What’s interesting about this is they also pulled apparel in China because the designer supports the protestors in Hong Kong. They can’t seem to figure out which side of the social justice war they want to fight for.

The Tebow situation and the Kapernick situation have a lot in common. Just like the rightwing snowflakes get worked up over Kap, the liberal snowflakes were just as worked up about Tebow.
