Colin Kaepernick sits during national anthem

It's about as dumb as being offended by Kaep's socks.
I wasn't offended, he is free to be wrong as much as anyone.
Kap said he doesn't respect the US flag, and that's his right. I can call him an idiot and a hypocrite for his views without being perpetually offended or demand he apologize or be fired or anything else.

I didn't say you were.

Who offered him? I think you're quoting a number from 2016 as if that's all Kap was willing to take in 2019, but correct me if I'm wrong.
I heard on the radio yesterday he skipped a workout where the number was $3M. He apparently has turned down interest in contracts with heavy incentives too.
Let's face it he really doesn't want to play again, he risks losing the Nike money and his platform if he falls on his face and at 32 that's a significant probability. You can tout his QB rating in 2016, but he was 1-10, that is not good and that's after he was 2-6 the year before. His last winning season was 2013.

LOL. His team was ******. His coach was ******. Their D was last in the league in both points and yards. They didn't have a 1k rusher. Their best WR was Kerley. Just stop with this. Come on, man.

You want to judge him by his 2019 team accomplishments because judging him as an individual isn't getting you the results you want.
You're doing exactly what you're accusing me of doing. He was not this great QB that you seem to want to portray. He was not some phenomenal talent. Hell, he was benched the first part of that season. Like it or not, wins and losses factor into how a QB is perceived. He's not a starter in the league for a reason, and it doesn't involve collusion. If he was that talented, teams wouldn't give a damn, they'd sign him. Look at the number of teams that were willing to give Antonio Bryant a shot, because he was that damn good. The same is not true of CK.

If anyone needs to stop shoveling BS, it's you. Apparently you have no idea how the NFL does business. If you're going to bring headaches, you better be worth it, and up until now, he hasn't been. I will say, with all that is currently going on, it would not surprise me if he were to get signed, but if it happens, it's all about image. It's not about talent. It's all about the NFL wanting to look good, to look like they care. For the NFL, and all of its owners, it's always about what is best for business.

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game.

Trump could end this thread today by tweeting out that he has changed his mind and is for kneeling now as a matter of respect for our right to protest . So from this day forward , I request that all athletes kneel to support our constitutional right .

his NFL stats were terrible as was his WIN-LOSS record, and he demanded to be a starter with starter $ after HE HIMSELF opted out of the 49ers contract

It’s ok to be offended . just being offended by something doesn’t require action . That’s our biggest problem , somehow we’ve gotten to the point of somebody being offended requiring an action to be taken .
Post of the day!!!!
Ricky and I both liked it.
