Freedom really trumps people's hurt feelings, whether it's 1 person offended or 10 million. What percentage of the public has to find something offensive and to what degree before we call it offensive?
Where do you draw the line, personally?
Trump could do a lot of things if he had a desire to unite.............but he doesn't.Trump could end this tread today by tweeting out that he has changed his mind and is for kneeling now as a matter of respect for our right to protest . So from this day forward , I request that all athletes kneel to support our constitutional right .
How so?
For me it’s a personal right of free speech and freedom of thought . ( regardless of how stupid it is ) . This isn’t going to be pleasant for some to hear but we can’t support one groups right to offend and not another’s . Group think and counter culture is bad for an open society . IMO
32 QB's start, LOL.
He's probably better than a handful of them, but you are right. They didn't want the negative attention from all the sensitive red hats.
That's not acceptable thought anymore. If you disagree with someone you're morally required to call on twitter to get them fired.I see or hear things all the time that I don't necessarily agree with, but as long as it's not actually harming someone, I tend to keep my mouth shut, because I realize not everyone has to think or believe like I do.

Will be interested to see if players are called racists for standing during the National Anthem this football season.

Being a moron and one off moronic acts are completely different. Both you and I have done moronic things but I wouldn't consider either of us to be morons.
Although wearing that tshirt was in no way moronic, insensitive or offensive.
I heard on the radio yesterday he skipped a workout where the number was $3M. He apparently has turned down interest in contracts with heavy incentives too.
Let's face it he really doesn't want to play again, he risks losing the Nike money and his platform if he falls on his face and at 32 that's a significant probability. You can tout his QB rating in 2016, but he was 1-10, that is not good and that's after he was 2-6 the year before. His last winning season was 2013.
I guess I'll rephrase...
How offensive can the shirt be in lilreb-land?
I've never done anything moronic. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I stated why his decision was moronic. Can you not state why it wasn't?
So, was Lee's decision in March moronic, or is Lee a moron?
You're doing exactly what you're accusing me of doing. He was not this great QB that you seem to want to portray. He was not some phenomenal talent. Hell, he was benched the first part of that season. Like it or not, wins and losses factor into how a QB is perceived. He's not a starter in the league for a reason, and it doesn't involve collusion. If he was that talented, teams wouldn't give a damn, they'd sign him. Look at the number of teams that were willing to give Antonio Bryant a shot, because he was that damn good. The same is not true of CK.
If anyone needs to stop shoveling BS, it's you. Apparently you have no idea how the NFL does business. If you're going to bring headaches, you better be worth it, and up until now, he hasn't been. I will say, with all that is currently going on, it would not surprise me if he were to get signed, but if it happens, it's all about image. It's not about talent. It's all about the NFL wanting to look good, to look like they care. For the NFL, and all of its owners, it's always about what is best for business.
