Colin Kaepernick sits during national anthem

The top 30 QB's don't start. Some starters are young guys who teams are investing in for the future. Sometimes a backup on one team is better than a veteran starter on another. Bridgewater was probably better than 10 starting QB's last year. Say in 2020 Kap goes to the Ravens and LJ gets hurt, I think Kap has a very good chance at being a top 12 QB. There aren't a ton of guys that you could throw on any team and have a top 12 season.

I get why you're saying he's not top 30, but I don't get how you arrive there because he has never played like he's outside the top 30.
Are you saying he’s a top 12 QB because of Greg Roman and he knows the system ?

I am saying in terms of productivity he could be a top 12 QB. I don't think that means he's top 12 in a vacuum, but yes, it's because of Roman, the system, and the line and weapons. It's tailor-made to get more out of Kap then we ever saw, the question mark is how rusty would he be?

Kappy does not want to play football. Kappy is concerned about one thing, and one thing only, HIS BRAND.

Kappy's marketing campaign comprises the theme of being the Persecuted Black Man who is not allowed to play NFL football because of the WHITE RACIST NFL OWNERS. NIKE is paying him millions of dollars because of his BRAND.

The NFL paid him $10,000,000.

Remember the "work out" he held for the NFL teams a year or so ago? Even the screaming ESPN social justice warrior Stephen A Smith said it was nothing more than a public relations stunt.

OK you're the Ravens GM, you'll take Colin for how much money or would you rather have Josh Dobbs at $900K per year? I think Dobbs is more elusive with a very comparable arm, and will probably be $3+M less with a much longer career ahead.

I would take both of them, split up the hair, and give each half. Then, I would trade both of them.

Not offended. I viewed it sort of like a MAGA hat.
It told me about Gundy's mindset, and it's one that I do not really respect or understand.

I hear you but because someone wears a shirt does not necessarily mean you support that network/cause/team. I wear an SC Gamecocks shirt from time to time that my MIL (RIP) gave me. Am I an SC Fan? Certantly not!
