Colin Powell to endorse Obama....developing

what evidence do you have of this except a general dislike for the current president?

Public opinion polling on everything from gay marriage, women in the military, racial attitudes, abortion, etc... These are generally considered more progressive values.

You said he was your boss. Plenty of people have bosses, and many don't know their personal lives.

same standard applies. dont' tell me that you have never had someone you know "personal to you" commit a crime or do something you never imagined they would do (i.e. cheat on the wife or whatever).

Whatever. Hey take it and stick it. Quit obvious you do or don't believe, I doesn't really matter. I will ask that you let it go or drop it and do not question his integrity and character.

the difference was that one was a close spiritual advisor and the other was some random guy she had never met before.

I am sorry for you but that was her decision and her choice to make it. She made the decision to do it and that is not the type of person I want with access to the Nuclear Codes or with any authority to authorize the use of them. Taking the advice and going through a voodoo type ritual with a random individual is irresponsible judgment and a decision she chose to make. Is someone worthy of leading this country. NOT.

Furthermore, she made the choice/decision to attend the secessionist rally and it was another ill advised choice but it was her decision.

Had Sen Mc Cain chosen one of the 8 more qualified people to run on his ticket I would have voted for him. 5 women 3 men more Qualified, but he didn't and I cannot vote for him with her on the ticket.

Who do you think had a better chance than John McCain this year? Nobody is not an answer. Who would have been a better nominee? (Please say Sarah Palin!!)
Mitt Romney is the most qualified of everyone who remotely considered running. He obviously didn't have a better chance because he was defeated in the primary.

I guess you don't like some of the military either? Since some of us have to be friendly with known racists......
I definitely don't like some of the military, especially those in the Navy. If you guys didn't have Nimitz, Halsey and the Marines have Puller, we'd throw all of you back.

I'll name three (all not black):

Joe DiMaggio
Rocky Balboa
My good friend Al Hrabosky
would have been better had you worked in Apollo Creed.

Maybe a cadence:

Jesse James said before he died,
there were 5 people that he wanted to fight,
Tyson, Frazier, Muhammed Ali,
Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed.

As an aside - I know for a fact that Powell hates Hungarians.

How about MAD Hungarians? Did your discussions ever get to that level of detail?

I couldn't work in Creed - he's black! Would've done nothing for my argument.

we did not get into that level of detail about ferners, but he did mention that he hates black athletes, including Creed. Thought Creed getting the hammer from Predator in the South American jungles was sweet justice. I didn't even respond.

does Tiger count?
no, golf's not a sport according to VGTX, so TW does not qualify for the hatred.

Obama's pathetic forays onto the basketball court didn't hurt him either. He was in no way mistaken for an athlete and the cigarettes ended the line of questioning.

i agree Romney was more qualified than John McCain, but i don't think Romney had the best chance to win. It's painfully obvious now that McCain should've chosen Romney as his veep instead of Sarah Palin.

I've been saying that for weeks. Palin is a farce. As Limbaugh has said, she is all "Babies, Guns, and Jesus"...way to shore up that base.

the idea that we inevitably become a Euro style quasi democracy has some merit, because our high minded liberal elites love that model and they get elected by promising to be Robin Hood.

Some of those Euro style democracies are way ahead of us.
