This is all a crazy number of transfers. Shhheeesssh. One reason sport suffers is crap like this. Look at the amount of ppl leaving Arizona. Just sad.

I can't say I blame Arizona players though. They did just lose their coach. I am a huge proponent of "Commit to the school, not the coach" but if your coach leaves you with no strings attached then I think the players should be able to do the exact same. As for the SEC......yikes. That's a bad look for sure.

@youcancallmeAl, look at MSU's transfer numbers and departing seniors. They will have less than 10 players from this team rollover. They will still be good, but the expectation is middle of the road SEC - which is still good.

Yes, the schools left in a lurch because of a late coaching search are in a pickle. I feel bad for the players left behind. So much uncertainty. With regards to Arizona, many LSU fans wonder how many players will transfer to be with Johnson. It's not that simple of roster management.

Re: The SEC -Yikes especially for Mizzou. I wonder how long it will take before Biser gets shown the door.

Elsewhere, there are 31 players from LaSalle in the transfer portal. Unfortunately this past Fall, LaSalle's university admin decided to cut the program due to fallout from the pandemic. This past season was the baseball program's last before being shuttered. I can't imagine what the players are feeling. Hope they all find landing places.
