You guys are a bunch of idiots. We have a stout group coming back next fall. Ya we lost all of our WR but we threw the ball way to much last year and look where that got us. Our starting LBs are studs. We should have some upgrades at DBs. And if the DBSs stay healthy we should be fine. College football is a game of attrition and plenty of teams loose players and just have to restock, which we're doing.

Plus I live in florida and my neighbor went to florida and tells me that Jessie Palmer takes it up the butt and gives it to HG and 99. So screw florida, bama, Vandy and every school that isn't in East Tennessee.

I lol'd.

Bunch of Negavols!

So some folks who call themselves experts sitting behind a desk, said something about the program only winning 5 games and all of a sudden it's we are only going to win 5 games at best next year, give me a break. Have some faith in the program or go pull for someone else.

Same BS that was being spouted last year before the start of the season. If you want to bask in that sunshine yer pumpin' then be my guest. I will bask in the cold hard light of reality while pulling for the school I attended.

Thought we could get to 9 or 10 this yr with the offense we had but didn't see the D being so badly coached. Here's my early prediction for 2013 with the schedule.

2013 Tennessee Football Schedule

Aug. 31 Austin Peay Knoxville (W)
Sept. 7 Western Kentucky Knoxville (W)
Sept. 14 at Oregon Eugene, Ore. (L)
Sept. 21 at Florida * Gainesville, Fla. (L)
Sept. 28 South Alabama Knoxville (W)
Oct. 5 Georgia * Knoxville (W)
Oct. 12 Open Date
Oct. 19 South Carolina * Knoxville (W)
Oct. 26 at Alabama * Tuscaloosa, Ala. (L)
Nov. 2 at Missouri * Columbia, Mo. (W)
Nov. 9 Auburn * Knoxville (W)
Nov. 16 Open Date
Nov. 23 Vanderbilt * Knoxville (W)
Nov. 30 at Kentucky * Lexington, Ky. (W)

8-4 maybe 9-3 depends on QB play. Defense will be much better.

Well I was the negative Nancy last year as I wasn't very confident in the 9 or 10 wins that a lot of folks thought, but this year I am going the opposite way.... I honestly think we are going to be better than most folks think.....

I believe we will sneak up on a few folks... I also think there are players that have learned from the CDD years... What I mean by that is that they have been so close so many times that they are ready to get over the hump in some of the close games....

I also think there are a few teams that will not be certain what our offense will look like...Could be wrong, but our defense couldn't be much worse either...

I have no idea where they will come from or who they will be against, but I think we will win 8 games...Just my 2 cents..
Had the same thought. Maybe you and I should make a Sonic commercial.

If we get a halfway decent defense, I think we'll do better than people think. Ye4s, JH, CP, MR, and TB are gone. But with the WR corps we have left, we're not toothless. With a CBJ offense, we won't be predictable and I dare believe that BJ knows how to use the RB corps. We got a stubborn bull in Neal, a dangerous Morgan stallion in Lane, shifty sports cars in Young and Howard. All the RBs can catch passes (not sure about Young). Young despite his size seems to be a bit hard to bring down. Problem is, he has to hang onto the ball while struggling for extra yardage. I dare say we have the right QBs in Worley and Peterman for the BJ offense. Just give this team a decent defense and they're going to seriously hurt some people. If they get that defense, a 9-3 season wouldn't surprise me.

With a loss to W Kentucky and Kentucky...a 2 win season is not out of the question....so is 2-10 a real possibility for 2013? Who knows...

its possible that we lose every game...but Western Kentucky and UK? come on...we're talking about what is likely to happen. there's also the possibility we win every game but that is not what is likely to occur. You can't just throw around what is possible, because just about anything is possible, that's why they call it probability...a coin can land three ways, tails, heads, or on its edge...if I were to tell you that its possible that the outcome of flipping a coin is that it lands on its edge, you would have to agree with me, but that doesn't mean that it will be reasonable to think that it will happen. Possible? Yes, (by default) Likely? no.

So here's some of the possibilities this season (regular) 0-12, 1-11, 2-10, 3-9, 4-8, 5-7, 6-6, 7-5, 8-4, 9-3, 10-2, 11-1, and 12-0...now which one is more likely?

Hmmm our schedule and complete coaching change doesn't scream confidence. IMO media confidence would have been higher if Dooley would have been kept around. So thanks buddd:hi:

Really? :lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove:

They might predict 2 wins if DD was still here. Now if we had TB, JH, and CP they would predict 8-10. But 7 is probably our ceiling.

This will be a much better coached team next year. This years team was a lot better than that clown of a coaching staff got out of it. Will we win the east? No, but I don't think we will pizz away certain games either. I was very upset with the hire originally but the more I see and hear how this staff is going about its business, I feel good about the direction we are headed. We had some great individual players last year. The key word is individual. We will have a TEAM this year and the key word there is "TEAM".

This is just ridiculous...

The only SEC game we will win next season is Kentucky...

Why the hell would we be better next year with no Bray, Hunter, and CP? Also, the defense isnt getting that much better after 1 offseason...

Going back to the 4-3 will help the defense alone. That's what they was recruited for anyways. Hunter wasn't a big factor this year. C flash P WILL be missed however. I think we'll do better than most think.

I was too. We was a couple of turnovers from keeping dooley and having a better record. Loosing dooley or winning the east. Pick your poison.

All kiddicking aside. I truly believe our defense will be better next year but our offense will be average. Worley should do fine in the spread( Ran it in Highschool ) And Idk if anyone noticed but Jay Graham has did a damn good job with our runningbacks they got better as the year went on. It'll be a interesting spring game to say the least.

This is from the same talking meatbags that declared us "back" before the UF game. They don't know anything just like us. The defense will improve. There's nowhere to go but up on that front. Offense will have growing pains but we have a great line which should cover up a lot of blemishes. Anyone could win 4 games with this team. Butch should get us to a bowl.

I would say I hope this is the work of mobile autocorrect, but then I'd be worried about the kind of things you've been texting about...

If we win less than six games, all the same losers will be calling for Jones' head.

They'll start the Gruden crap again.

We can beat Mizzou, Auburn, and Vandy I'm sure.
