College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

With Rhode Island and Ohio state winning that has to help us almost have a 3 wrapped up

5 seeds: Michigan, Kentucky, Gonzaga, Arizona...all still alive.

4 seeds: Ohio State, Clemson, Texas Tech, West Virginia...all alive except OSU.

I don’t think Gonzaga could catch us, but the other 6 all could if we go 0-2 and they win some game. Worst case is a 4 seed it would seem, win tomorrow and I think we lock up a 3 seed.

Where do you have Rhode Island?

Well I should have said before this loss tonight

I think Murray will take it

Well, I'm rooting for the in-state team, Belmont. Belmont has become a damn good program over the last 10 years. I'm not sure how many times they have been to the NCAA Tourney, but I wouldn't be shocked if it has been at least 5 times, in that time span

Edit: I looked it up. Belmont has made 7 NCAA Tourney appearances since 2006. They are 0-7 with a one point loss to Duke probably being their best performance

I'd say Kentucky based on the prestige of our two wins. That's without looking at what the seeding in the SEC might be

I just tried to make sense of it, I made it to like 3rd place and gave up...it can go so many different ways.

If Kentucky wins they are 3rd place team meaning they would be on our side of the bracket. If they lose/Florida wins, then Florida is the 3rd place team.

I think we should pull for Mich State today. Too many wins to catch them imo and I could see Michigan catching us if they win the tourney.
