College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

I would be happy if just 1 of them lost, but I have feeling both with will win. Auburn has the tougher matchup though.
On paper ....yeah Auburn has a tougher matchup....but UK is playing a team that is desperate for a win....that is a dangerous variable and at Bud Walton anything is possible.

Very true. I think MSU is going to be desperate for a win though, too. They beat us and have kind of fizzled out ever since.

Yes, I know it's mathematically possible. That would still be 17 points below KSU's season average. They've only scored fewer than 60 twice. 59 in a 1-pt loss to Texas Tech, and 46 in a game against Nebraska where they shot 26% from the field and 13% on 30 attempts from 3, and only scored 12 points in the 2nd half.

Granted, Houston has the #1 defense in America, and are capable of putting the clamps on anyone, so 57 is certainly within reason. I just think 15 points is a lot in a projected low-scoring game against a pretty decent team.

I’ve been watching the Kansas Iowa St game. Holy cow those are 2 defensive, athletic teams. I wouldn’t want to see either of them in March. Kansas is obviously better but Iowa St is pretty good too.
