Just another example of lawyering up and refusing to talk to NCAA pays off. Pearl talked to the NCAA and lied, attempted to get others to lie with him, then attempted to come clean after realizing he was caught in his lies.

Lesson I learned is if I’m ever guilty of breaking the law and authorities try to question me, then I’m not saying anything except “I want a lawyer”.

“I don’t answer questions”.

Never talk to a cop. They aren’t looking to exonerate you - only for something to use to charge you with. Don’t need to be disrespectful, but don’t ever give up any of your rights. They are also allowed to lie to you, but don’t ever lie to them. You’ll get charged. They won’t be.

100% I agree. It seems like a bizarre statement. Especially after a game where they got dominated by Auburn’s forwards.

Each time I watch FAU this year, I can’t help but wonder how this team made the Final 4 last year. They look fine, but they’ve not exactly been steam rolling through their conference. Currently in a battle with UAB.

….I'm sorry but lately I’ve seen some truly weird shot selections in close games. It’s a tie game and both Arizona and Utah take 3 point shots on their final possession. Like, work it in the paint. Take a higher percentage shot. Sheesh. Why a 3????

If you recall, it took a buzzer beater vs Memphis for them to get out of the first round last year. It always takes a little luck to advance in the Dance.

They did beat both Arizona and Texas A&M earlier this year. They’re legit.

I don’t know if I’d call them “legit” this year. They have 2 Q4 losses. They’re a fine team, but if they played in a better conference they would have several more losses and wouldn’t be in the Top 25.
