Not for sure you were one of the ones, but some did predict Bama missing that #1 seed line because of their tough late schedule. If so, credit to you.I always though Bama on the 1 line was vulnerable. They always had the toughest part of the schedule at the end. They still have to finish by playing @tennessee, vs Florida, @bama.
I think Florida has the best chance to actually get that second, 1 seed spot in the SEC.
Different categories.…flagrant now includes intentional fouls
Depending on matchups in the NCAAT, it wouldn't surprise me to see one of these "under the radar" SEC teams crash the Final Four. I'd put Mizzou, A&M, and Miss State in that bucket.Mizzou is a scary team, wouldn’t wanna play them if they’re shooting like this!
So if everyone finally done asking when/if he’ll be our next coach?I went to the Georgetown/Providence game tonight. Poor Kim English probably isn’t long for that job. He’ll probably get another year due to all of the injuries he’s had to face, but they’re really struggling and they did not look fundamentally sound at all tonight.
He also doesn’t seem to have picked up from Barnes any of that defensive genius during his time here. Didn’t look very physical and had shooters running open all over the floor.
I said it previously, they’ll be an interesting case study (not that folks will pay attention), to see how they fare. Many Tennessee fans complaining about our lack of offense point to Bama as a team they wish we’d be like, they’re essentially our polar opposite, Top 3 on one end and sub 30 on the other end…as last night and previous games have been evidence of, that strategy doesn’t work any better. You’re seeing the 2 reasons I don’t like them. There are days or moments where you have to get stops. Can they?
And then, too reliant on Sears. An off night for him past the early rounds and I don’t know if they can overcome that
