College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Aidoo with another game with 0 points. He has averaged under 2 points a game for the last 8 games. Coincidentally, Arkansas has been more competitive since benching him in that stretch
I guess his transfer was a double win for us. He hurt Arkansas and cost them money, and we upgraded with Okpara.

I always though Bama on the 1 line was vulnerable. They always had the toughest part of the schedule at the end. They still have to finish by playing @tennessee, vs Florida, @bama.

I think Florida has the best chance to actually get that second, 1 seed spot in the SEC.
Not for sure you were one of the ones, but some did predict Bama missing that #1 seed line because of their tough late schedule. If so, credit to you.
I say good call, but I will also say I wouldn't be so sure. We need to handle business against them and actually hope they beat Flordia.
If they were to beat us and win out they still can get that #1 seed. Us, Bama, and Flordia all pretty much control our destiny as far as that last #1 spot. I will say I still think it could work out where there is 3 SEC #1 seeds.

Mizzou is a scary team, wouldn’t wanna play them if they’re shooting like this!
Depending on matchups in the NCAAT, it wouldn't surprise me to see one of these "under the radar" SEC teams crash the Final Four. I'd put Mizzou, A&M, and Miss State in that bucket.

Villanova did the same thing in 2009. The Big East had three #1 seeds and they weren't one of them but ended up in the FF.

I went to the Georgetown/Providence game tonight. Poor Kim English probably isn’t long for that job. He’ll probably get another year due to all of the injuries he’s had to face, but they’re really struggling and they did not look fundamentally sound at all tonight.

He also doesn’t seem to have picked up from Barnes any of that defensive genius during his time here. Didn’t look very physical and had shooters running open all over the floor.
So if everyone finally done asking when/if he’ll be our next coach?

You’re seeing the 2 reasons I don’t like them. There are days or moments where you have to get stops. Can they?

And then, too reliant on Sears. An off night for him past the early rounds and I don’t know if they can overcome that
I said it previously, they’ll be an interesting case study (not that folks will pay attention), to see how they fare. Many Tennessee fans complaining about our lack of offense point to Bama as a team they wish we’d be like, they’re essentially our polar opposite, Top 3 on one end and sub 30 on the other end…as last night and previous games have been evidence of, that strategy doesn’t work any better.

They average 81.2ppg in their 5 losses, but average giving up 89.6ppg.

We average 61.2ppg in our 5 losses, but average giving up 71ppg.

Both teams are 21-5, is one way really better than the other?
