Colorado OT - Jordan Seaton - Could he transfer?

Idk. I think quite the opposite actually. It’s a circus no doubt but the main clown has brought in the money and attention. It’s Colorado. They were a non factor before he arrived there.

We should bring back Butch or Kiffin, because it made winning more fun for Alabama. That’s where the real money is!

Honestly.

If the players stay, minus Sanders X 2 and Hunter.
Add another strong recruiting class.
They would be alright.

Shaddeur is absolutely killing the winning culture of the team.
If Deion leaves, most of the better players transfer, regardless of who they hire. They went there to play for Deion and won't play for the desperate hire that Colorado will have to make. I wouldn't be surprised to see the top players transfer even if Deion stays.

I believe Tennessee is pleased with where they are now with the OT situation after Sanders committed. I may be wrong but I’d doubt they pay the money required now to get Seaton.
Pretty much we’re not going to go after him. He has some maturity issues. We’ve stacked the position with great talent already. I think if Seaton goes elsewhere it will be to a team that doesn’t care about fit and is desperate enough to pay the price (which you pointed out) that it would take to land him. He just wasted some developmental time and eligibility on this circus experiment.

That’s a good point. Whoever went there would be almost starting from square one. Unless they somehow land someone with some serious personality and status.

I get it.
Was just wondering outl oud.
Thanks
I completely get that; that’s what message boards are intended for. I was just throwing my two cents into the discussion. I trust our coaches to go get the right fits (which is not always about talent level with the NIL & transfer portal landscape now) for our team.

Any player or maybe their family has issues with decision making. If they were picking Deion for his gravitas as a former NFL star, that gravitas is non-existent in the coaching profession. That in itself can bleed over into a teams culture. People that make bad decisions struggle through like no matter the profession.

lol. All the righteous people in here screaming about “antics” and “culture” are the same ones who were advocating for that clown Jeremy banks after his bragging about killing cops. “He’s a young man and deserves redemption, rah rah rah we all make mistakes”. My, how winning a few games changes people’s minds on what character flaws we should/shouldn’t deal with here as TN fans.

You sure about that?

There’s a difference between a SECOND chance and instilled teamwide behavior.

kid was a high school kid lured by the nonsensical hype about Colorado, more money than he’s ever seen, and the infamy of “coach prime”!
I suspect we all made some poor decisions in high school.
Forgive, forget, give him a second chance and welcome him to the big orange with open arms if he so decided.
But if he turned into a culture cancer- cut it out quickly

You guys talk like this staff wont take his Talent if he wants to come. Just because you guys feel jaded with his antics doesnt mean the staff feels the same way
Considering how much time Shedeur spends on his back, I'm not sure if Seaton would be the most talented OT in the portal.

Shaddeur holds the ball too long. He never checks down.

And then he throws his Oline under the bus.

He’s a terrible leader. His father had a good personality for his position (CB). But Shaddeur acts like Prime…when he plays a totally different position.

The way he acted after the game Saturday. Calling players out on the field instead of "Good Game" really makes him look bad. That team has no sportsmanship at all. Of course, neither did Deon so it makes sense.
