I may be a naive, orange shade wearing homer but I’m not sweating it. I just don’t see him bailing on what he’s built and is continuing to build. He knows he can win here because he’s done it at a high level in extremely short order and the bells and whistles will follow. TBA was big when Pearl came but that’s all it was. Within 3 seasons of winning it was completely gutted, luxury suites were added that rival any gym in the country (NBA or NCAA) and Pratt Pavilion was built on the back of one major donation. The precedent is there.

The money comes with winning. Odd how everyone is quick to open their pocketbook to be part of a winning program. I’ll be a raindrop in the ocean in helping fund a new stadium but I wasn’t buying season tickets and driving 8 hrs roundtrip every other weekend to watch the product Raleigh or Serrano put on the field; I do now. I believe there’ll be others, with more money than me, who join the ranks.

Hope you're right. A new stadium to compete with the other new ones in the SEC will cost just shy of 70 million. Some sources are saying the proposed renovations to LNS will be 30 million. Lot of money for an athletic department supposedly with an empty checkbook.

Kendall Rodgers on WNML started to change his tune on if CTV stayed. He said it would be harder then ppl thought. Tony is a cash cow just starting to produce. Must lock him and his staff up for the long haul.

Yeah, it's a good listen if anyone is interested. I posted the link on the previous page. KR has long been saying it would be really hard to keep CTV, now he is saying it would be hard to poach him. Maybe there are rumblings of things going on behind-the-scenes. I think we'll know sooner rather than later.

White and Vitello's agent might be talking behind the curtain, or maybe they wait til after the season is over. Either way, I'm guessing there won't be any kind of official announcement of anything until after the season is concluded. However, some things might be leaked in the meantime.

Sexton is now Vitello's agent. I can guarantee you he is talking to literally everybody behind-the-scenes.

Hate that man with a burning passion.

I credit Sexton for being incredible at his job, there is a reason practically anyone who is anyone has him as their agent, but he has been a cancer on sports, IMO. Some seriously bloated contracts by some of my favorite teams because they were Sexton clients. Contracts they didn't deserve. Not to mention the ridiculous nature of his affect on the college coaching circles.

Let's hope White has the savvy to handle Sexton. Hopefully, he can somehow get his message across to Vitello without the filter and agenda of the agent.

that’s chump change to some of our donors. We just need the one big whale who likes baseball… and rumor is they have them on the hook!
