ECU can hold a dozen BOT meetings, they are an actual mid-major who cannot match anything LSU would offer. I’m not sure Godwin has been offered the job, or even will be offered the job, but he’s gone if they do.

On the other hand, it would be so funny if Woodward screwed around, held off for a coach in Omaha, then got turned down, lost out on Godwin, and have to settle for an up-and-comer.

There is nothing wrong with LSU hiring an up-and-comer if that’s where they end up. Everyone has to start somewhere! It would just be funny if that’s where it went considering the expectations of the fanbase…heck the expectations of this fanbase, too!

Don’t have to convince me of that, that LSU squad is young, Tre Morgan will be something else, they gotta a whole bench of young guys.

LSU will be stacked next year. Could potentially be the favorite in the West, which is why I wouldn’t be shocked to see them hire someone that isn’t even being discussed right now. They can afford to reach outside of the household names because whoever is coming in won’t have to build this thing from scratch like Vitello did here.

Tiger droppings is exactly where all of this started. Their forums started blowing up with it last night after Bianco’s extension at Ole Miss. TN media latched on and blew it into a MESS today.

I think they want to keep it in the LSU tree so to speak, they may not be able to though.

Tigerdroppings is an unregulated s***storm. I’m surprised anyone takes it seriously. I was equally disappointed to see Kendall Rogers post there a few days ago. I thought he was better than that. 🤦🏻‍♀

Y9 and I are going to be best friends by next baseball season. We’ll be repeat CWS contenders and we won’t be worried about coach poaching. We’re going to drink the same beers at the same time and chat on VN all day
