That video game episode was EPIC. I thought most of this season was kinda bleh, but that episode was awesome and totally made up for it...

Dude: "The computer will use your likeness to create an avatar."
Troy: "Aw, I didn't bring my likeness!"

....Troy is one of the funniest characters on a TV show in a while.

Three episodes of community in one night? Sweeeet.

Watched the first two, and both were equally awesome. Best show on tv.

So in the waning seconds of the finale they set up a bunch of new storylines. WTF with starburns? LOL

Also, is #sixseasonsandamovie some sort of plea for fan support? If so, I may start tweeting!

Dan Harmon is out as the show runner. It makes no sense at all. They renewed it for half a season which basically will be the last of the series and then fire the creator. Why not just let him run it out. Dan Harmon is Community

I think the show is moving to Fridays also. It's the beginning of the end of Community I'm afraid.

The video game show was epic. So many one-liners. Troy: "oh no he's shooting lightening and I'm naked!"

This show is over, but it went out with a bang. The final three episodes were great. So, do you think they got rid of Dan Harmon so that the show would go downhill in the final season, and people would just let it go? Or do you think they want to find someone that can make the humor a bit more mainstream, hoping to draw a wider audience?

I'm not sure they are trying to get a wider audience if they are moving to Fridays. I think this is basically them running out the clock.

Having said that, Fridays this fall will actually have a lot of shows that I watch. Fringe (also a final 13 episode season), Grimm, and now Community and Touch both moving there.

I don't care where it is, since it's the final season, I don't care what its ratings are. DVR solves all scheduling conflicts.

It might not be the final season though. It more than likely will be but if they move it away from Fridays it will have a better shot at being renewed. It's a tiny glimmer of hope.

They haven't said yet. It's actually a good thing if they get away from Friday. That's a tv wasteland.

Not necessarily. Some shows have done pretty well on Fridays, relatively speaking. In the past, yes Fridays was the place shows were sent off to die, but the past 5-10 years Friday has grown as a TV night.

Shows like Smallville and Numbers stayed on Fridays for several years and did well, and current shows like Fringe, Grimm, and CSI:NY are doing pretty well on Fridays now.

I think a niche show like Community could end up lasting much longer on Fridays than Thursdays, though I do think this is likely its last season regardless. Not to mention NBC is getting murdered on Thursday nights right now. Its highest rated show is The Office, and for the Office they are getting their lowest ratings ever.

Thought it had already been decided. I hope it's as good as the previous seasons. I can't believe it's not more popular. The humor's not any more off the wall than, say, Family Guy.

It seems to be just NBC right now. All of their scripted comedies are struggling. I think Parks and Rec is one of the funniest shows on TV and it's getting low ratings. I think Up All Night is actually pretty funny most weeks and it's probably going to get canned after this season.

Why watch smart funny comedy when you can watch generic laugh track mess like 2 1/2 Men, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, or any other crap that CBS spits out.

Unfortunately, CBS has kinda cracked the code on getting great ratings for awful shows. They have basically trained the 50+ demo to stay on CBS every night.

NBC on the other hand aims way younger to the generations that are a lot more likely to DVR or stream or torrent and it really effects them in a big way.

You're not kidding. TBBT is the only comedy on CBS I still like for the most part, and even it has become a bit stale to me. I watch HIMYM out of habit and my goodness I'm at the point that I don't care who the stupid mother is. They've stretched this out about as long as Ross/Rachel on Friends.

The rest I've never cared for. I really never understood the obsession with Two and Half Men. It wasn't very funny when Sheen was on it, much less now with Kelso.

Person of Interest is the only CBS show I think I truly like.

All of this is my position exactly.

I only watch Big Bang and Survivor on CBS. Loved the NBC Thursday lineup with 30 Rock, Community, Outsourced, Parks and Rec, and The Office.

Obviously Outsourced is gone, hate to see Community go that route, the Office and 30 Rock are in final seasons, and who knows if PnR will survive. Sigh.
