Never seen the show, but I just discovered this on the book of faces the other day:

Chevy Chase left the show. Apparently all 13 episodes are already shot so he's probably in the whole season, but if the show returns for a 5th season he won't be in it.

Apparently this premiered Thursday, and my DVR didn't record it. I heard it's taken a serious step backward without Dan Harmon. Also sounds like Chevy isn't in this season at all. They may have had to re-film all of his scenes. That could be part of the reason for the long delay.

Who watched it? I'll catch it on demand tonight.

Chevy's in there, albeit is small bits. They do some weird Abed alternate reality and Piers is substituted.

I read that we was actually fired because he was an incredible jerk to work with and they got tired of putting up with his crap.

It wouldn't be the first time, or probably the last. He's had a history of being difficult to work with. There are numerous accounts of him and Bill Murray getting into brawls on SNL.

It certainly doesn't sound like he's mellowed much with age.

It was ok, but nothing special. Personally I'm fine with this being the last season if that happens, because the show is growing thin. I thought Season 3 was pretty meh and the novelty of the whole thing is wearing off.

However given NBC's struggles they may find a way to keep it going. None of their new comedies are really doing that great, and 30 Rock and The Office already will be gone next season. Plus it looks like Up All Night will officially be dead soon as well.

It's sad how bad NBC's Thursday lineup has gotten. I used to love the Community, Parks and Rec, Office and 30 Rock lineup but for the past 2 years now, the only one I still love is Parks and Rec.

Yes, Parks and Rec is still comedy GOLD. Its the only one tho.

I agree also about Parks and Rec. It is great! It is the only one. I loved Community that it has run its course. I also enjoyed 30 Rock but missed several episodes in the final season because I could care less. I'm watching the final season of The Office just to round out the series and its mostly out of habit.

I missed the Liz Lemon wedding episode but otherwise I watched all the other 12 episodes. The finale was ok, but 30 Rock went downhill the last few seasons, and I thought this last season was pretty bad.

The Office is straight up terrible. I am only watching because there's only 9 episodes left and I've made it this far, but this season is actually making Season 8 look funny (and S8 sucked). It's redefining limping to the finish line.

I think the whole NBC Thursday lineup is taking on water fast. All the storylines have gone to hell, force of habit keeps me watching for the time being.

The second episode was marginally better. I enjoyed it, but it may have just been because I liked the scary movie parody theme. We'll see if they improve again in E3.

I thought it was better than the first one but still not all that great.

The ratings took a nosedive.

I thought last week's episode was a big step in the right direction.

I still don't think this show gets picked up for a fifth season. I need to buy seasons 1 through 3 on bluray. There's just nothing else this good on TV right now.
