FSU is a much bigger national brand than most think, but it doesn’t make sense for the SEC to want/need them. They already have that market. Big10 makes more monetary sense for FSU….jmo
Va Tech and Clemson make more sense to the SEC
Just between the two (FSU/Clemson)Why does Clemson make more sense? FL is a much bigger market than SC and we only have 1 of the big 3 in FL.

FSU doesn't have the deep pocket boosters that Clemson has. FSU has a much better history, but based on today's landscape, I think Clemson is a better fit. Who Knows?
Realignment sucks! I freaking HATE it...............but I'll adapt.IDK either, just on the surface FSU looks like a better choice. Personally I hate the idea of 20 schools in the conference but it's happening and I think the SEC needs to grab either FSU or Miami along with VA Tech (hate that idea) and UNC.

I can't find the tweet. but a Wazzu reporter posted about Wash. St and the decline of their sports program due to all the realignment.I can’t believe the PAC screwed this up so bad.
Call the Big 12 after Texas/OU leave, drop WVU and Okie State to the SEC and add BYU/Houston. 20 team super league and billion dollar rights deal. Enough in place regionally to make sense (everybody west of the Mississippi). Instead, you’re going to have to disband within the next 12 months. Utter lunacy how they messed this up.
UNC and one of the Virginia schools (especially UVA) would be the biggest win as far as the overall financial competition with the Big Ten all these moves are. Both in gains and how it would fiscally impede the latter conference.
(Also given what the Big Ten actually tends to look for in universities - market size, AAU members, etc - Florida State likely isn’t going to receive an invitation from them, either. They’re likely to still be around to pull from whatever Frankenstein Big 12-ACC hybrid exists after in the years following 2036 when that grant of rights expires, if the SEC *really* does want them…I’m unsure that the same might not be true regarding Clemson, either)
Grab UNC and UVA. Then pick up whichever other two desired (Florida State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, or heck even Arizona from the Big 12, it really doesn’t matter as much as the first 2 I mentioned and there’s not terribly much difference between 18 and 20 now with divisions removed). That would be the biggest win as far as the overall financial competition with the Big Ten in which all these moves are based, both in gains and how it would fiscally impede that conference.
