There's probably not a day that goes by that I don't see someone wearing something that's got Bama on it. And I'm sure a couple of them don't even know who Bear Bryant was. Some people just wear some team's gear because they saw a friend wearing the same thing. We went through the same thing up here with Florida a few years ago. The whole thing usually makes me want to puke.

I had a similar situation with a temp I had with me at my work for a few months. All he did was talk about Saban all day. So one day I asked him to name some qb's before A.J. and McElroy. He couldn't name a single one. Later on he asked my help in drafting his fantasy football team. I kept having him pick ex UT players and he never realized it. That was a good day.

If the Price thing hadn't happened he would have had enough success that Bama wouldn't have been looking for a coach when Saban was hired and Bama wouldn't have won 3 NCs.A blessing in disguise.

Tell him Rich Rod was the coach before Saban. I will give points for every person he tells.

Bama fans kill me. I had a discussion about Rich Rod with a Bama fan the other day. Amazing they don't know how close he was to landing that gig.

Oh yeah convince him a "yella hammer" is the old trophy passed back and forth between Bama and the barn back when the Diversity was an old wooden ship.

Update ....




On lunch. The guy sat down just talking about random stuff. Something on the tv said something about Alabama.

Me : so you ever been to Birmingham to watch the tide play any ?

" yea ive been a few times its a lot of fun, we partied hard "

Me : yea i love going to the vols games. So i know what u mean , i just want tennessee to beat bama this year when i go to the game , but i dont think we have a chance at all since they hired derek dooley as oc. That guy is a offensive genious, I think bama might win it all.

" oh i know man , his offenses were like crazy good ,i cant wait to see them play.cant get here fast enough. How do you think Tennessee gonna do?"

Me : im not expecting anything more than 6 wins. I just hope we keep the bama game at least close like 09 when we had yall beat, until freakin mark ingram blocked parker-Wilson's field goal. I bet you was sweating

I could not keep going. I thought i was gonna die laughing. I just said we gonna have to see what happens this year in Knoxville.
