This reminds me of every opening day thread on VN that I've ever seen. Some small, cute little school comes in confident because we've been down recently and leaves Neyland with a reality beatdown. Don't feed their trolls. This will be over by halftime

I'm not sure if it's the same thread linked here,but I saw the "hickaggie" guy make several comments saying that their defense is "elite" and on par with a Florida,Alabama,or LSU. They may in fact win this game though I doubt it,but those comments in particular amused me.

Yes, I believe that. I think they're only touchdown will be either late in the game against our 2nd string defense or from our offense turning it over. I think our defense/ST will put us in position at least twice to get a short TD or FG if not outright score. USU will bring it early and will not turn it off until half of Neyland Stadium is empty."

You should have gotten to know Freak before making that bet. Not sure about your boards but I've NEVER seen the moderators here shut a thread down because outside fans were ragging UT fans.

They post on Scout forums. Just like Vandymania. They use that jumbled thread style where the title is at the top of every post and posts have several quotes attached to them, and they put a flame by the threads that are "hot" and they put a lock on threads they don't want people posting on.

The whole thing makes me very thankful for VN.

Actually we post on USUfans.com (which IMO is the best lay out of a fan forum on the web that I've seen, although volnation is very nicely laid out as well :thumbsup: )

I wasn't sure if ya'll locked threads on here. I just want all the posts to be able to be responded to after the game, no matter what the outcome (win or lose I'll come back to this thread).

But but but we had NEVER seen corners like them!! They were from lesser conferences but they would have been the best corner in the SEC!!

Meanwhile after the game is over, none of us are even sure they got off the bus.

Later on (and through the next seasons) we're playing against actual stud DB's like Ha Ha Clinton Dix, Vinnie Sunseri, Vernon Hargreaves, DE's like Clowney and Michael Sam, etc etc.

No disrespect but I expect that same thing will happen with this "Luke Fackrell" kid who is supposed to absolutely eat us alive.

Utah State linebacker Kyler Fackrell is getting some notice from various outlets, and the latest comes from ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr., who presented his first big board for 2015. Kiper has Fackrell at No. 18, and has this to say:

Many people haven't seen him play, but Fackrell is a big-time athlete at 6-5 and about 250 pounds, and he's already started 27 games as he enters his junior season. He had 13.0 tackles for loss last season and could have had more on what was a very good Aggies defense.
