Confident USU Fans (blue cool-aid)

Found this:

Utah State NFL Draft Choices

They have 7 to our 16 in the last four years. Worst era of our program and best of theirs. Lol.

it isn't our best. We've had top 10 finishes, it was just a long long time ago. Certainly the best since we won 1 game my freshman year though.

but hey, UT only has one more hall of fame player than USU! And for good karma, I'll point out that vandy has zero all time. Colleges

Go ahead and mark UT down for 3 since a guaranteed one is still playing

certainly is. Hope we have one playing right now too in bobby wagner. He's no peyton (peypey as i call him, we're buds), but he's been absolutely spectacular so far in his career.

edit: I'd also imagine jason witten gets in. my wife loves him, but not as much as I do.

Such a shame Witten has been wasted on our train wreck of an NFL team. I love me some Eric Berry as well.

Eric berry is a bad bad man. No one goes across the middle light hardedly in Kansas City while he is playing.

Rare combo of work ethic, aggression, and raw athletic ability. Few guys get all of those in one package. It might be early, but he could turn into a Ronnie Lott esque type of guy.

Luckily we currently have his 2 brothers on our team. Freshmen now... cant wait until theyve been in the program for a while. Eric has been training them for a while.

Not sure if you already know this, but Eric's younger brothers (twins) Evan & Elliot are true freshmen this year :)

EDIT: nevermind, I was Swansoned by POA

How do they look? At least in High school? Highly recruited? I'm not familiar with Eric Berry's story out of HS, but I have to imagine he was a "blue chipper"

USU was practicing 1's vs. 2's? Smart. They're gonna try to win the 4th quarter against our 2nd string.

I don't know what the fascination is with this. We already know who the starters are. If you want to prove yourself, do it against the best. That means playing well against the 1s. The 1s are a known commodity. I think it is the better way to handle early scrimmages. it changes at the end of camp.

I am also fascinated by the focus UT fans seem to have with this. I was weirded out by UT letting their QBs go full contact in scrimmage. Every program runs things a bit differently.

I suppose it's because some of us believe it's better for you top units to compete against best athletes you have whenever possible. Has to change when you are running "scout team" sets to prepare for a specific opponent. The best way to read, and develop, a player is to have him practice against the best competition available.

Eric was a consensus 5 star and top 10 recruit out of HS.

Evan and Elliot were very low key and did not camp or participate in a lot of the extra events that the recruiting services use to adjust the player evals.

Evan was a 4-star and Elliot was a 3-star, but I think they both could be underrated.

Evan has outrun Eric in timed 40 yd dash on several occasions.

Then why was this place having a collective circle j**k on here last season after the UGA game?

And yes, there is a difference in losses. If UT goes to Oklahoma and has a chance in the 4th quarter to win the game, there's no way you can tell me you would rate it equal to the Oregon last year where it was over early.

Does it really matter how we fans rate a loss? No it doesn't. All I am saying is a loss is a loss. Competitive losses compared to blow out losses is an asinine argument. At the end of the season all is shown are W's and L's.

So to you there is no difference in losing 21-20 or 55-10?

OK. :hi:

I'm a homer, but I at least try to be objective about another team's talent level. Chuckie Keeton is good. They have a moderately good defensive line.

It seems like their homers have zero clue about the amount of young talent that we have. Plus, Neyland on a long weekend isn't exactly like a road trip to Fort Collins or Laramie.

Actually, Vegas sees the game closer to their perspective. We are only 6 1/2 point favorites, with the money-line likely to give Utah State a 1-in-3 chance of outright victory. I think Vegas is wrong, but it shows their fans are not alone in their thought process.

Umm lol... This guy is trolling hard, but looks like an idiot doing it.

USU - 42
UT - 0

Total blowout. The Aggies destroy Tennessee from the 1st quarter. By the end of the game there will be more aggie fans in the stands then people who donate their time."
