It's still the truth though. They acted like he was God or something and that he was the greatest coach to ever coach a game. Plain and simple.

The Pearl threads should die, and we should support Cuonzo. However, the only problem I have with this thread is that a lot in it bashed him as a coach too. So, he had the most successful 6 year run in UT history while being a mediocre coach with no NBA talent. That is one lucky SOB.

Pearl is good in my book...no question!

Pearl screwed up and it cost him his job at UT. But, I will always appreciate what he did for UT Basketball and especially appreciate the way he continues to speak positively about UT, and our athletics. He definetly continues to represent Vol Pride and the VFL attitude.
