I think there will be some strong words for Comey. Don't think they'll have much on Lynch. Who knows on McCabe. Be interesting to see what they say about the leaks out of the NYC FBI field office to Giuliani.

Here's the thing Mick.

When the dossier was used as the key piece of evidence to get a judge's signature on a FISA warrant it was supposed to have already been verified by the agents applying for the warrant.

The judge doesn't investigate the evidence - the agents swear the evidence is verified and true.

The dossier was used as evidence for the initial warrant and 3 extensions.

Comey testified the dossier was salacious and unverified in 2017.

Illegal spying on political opponents isn't justifiable. Illegal spying on Americans isn't ok.

Why are the democrats ignoring the facts?

Bureaucracies always protect those at the top and sacrifice underlings - it's the only way the bureaucracy survives. The IG and and his minions are part of the bureaucracy, and they aren't going to cut their own throats.

Is it actually a crime? Why? I mean, in the long run, how is it much different than Hillary using Christopher Steele, a British agent, to dig up dirt on Trump? Maybe Hillary was attempting collusion with the Brits to rig our election? Damn those Brits! Still can't get over us winning our independence!


On a more serious note, why does it matter where information comes from? The real question should be whether the information was truthful? If Russia had contacted Hillary and said "Hey, we've got dirt on Trump. Do you want it?", do you honestly think she would have said "no thanks". I don't. She certainly had no trouble looking to resources outside the U.S.

THEY DON'T CARE. As long as they can dance around this with clever verbiage tthey will keep chanting that this warrant is legit. This had nothing to do with facts and everything to do with who is in their cross hairs.
