Rosenstein's appointment of Mueller now truly seems to be him/FBI/the deep state trying to bring down the President. The FBI had to have been involved in the discussions leading up to the appointment of Mueller.

This completely changes the dynamic of the Mueller's investigation and appointment as a whole.
