Countdown to Northam Resignation

You can't force Northam to resign. There would need to be impeachment proceedings (or whatever the mechanism is under VA law) to force him out. Additionally, you can't run for re-election, which lessens the pressure on Northam.

On Fairfax, not seeing anybody support him. All the Dems I've see are saying either resign or investigate fully. In fact, Fairfax has called for a full investigation, just like Kavanau...oh, scratch that, Kavanaugh was scared of the full investigation.
When you can control the investigation to fit your narrative who wouldn't welcome it. If they stay just remember with the next Republican scandal that you can't,

1. Make a thread about it
2. B!tch and moan about it

The VA state legislators are drafting impeachment articles against Fairfax said a Democrat lawmaker in VA.

Tell the rest of the story, Paul Harvey.

Del. Patrick A. Hope (D-Arlington) on Friday night asked Virginia’s legislative services to draft articles of impeachment against Fairfax. Hope said he was uncertain which part of the state’s constitution would apply but added that he hoped he would not have to introduce the measure Monday.

And then his second poor judgment was lying about it last Saturday. He's a liar, time to go.

I have no problem with him leaving office. I think he should resign and have said that since day one. Telling a lie that's not under oath is not impeachable though.

There you go. I guess Fairfax has been accused of a crime and Northam just poor judgment.

When I hear calls from the state legislatures to not investigate then they will be comparable to the Republicans during the Kavanaugh hearings.

In other words, this is being used by Dems to force Fairfax's resignation. So how does that play into the narrative we're just protecting our own?

It won't get through the Legislature there since it's just allegations and nothing is proven yet.

Something you and Simple Mick haven't figured out yet.

What more did you want to know. Is anything I stated untrue or misleading? I never said they have "introduced" anything. The condemnation has been strong and well publicized from the D's .

You might want to add who is drafting them next time.

Don't leave us hanging.

Virginia House of Delegates Member Patrick Hope (D) announced Friday he intends to introduce articles of impeachment for Justin Fairfax unless the Democratic lieutenant governor resigns by Monday following new allegations of sexual assault.

Who you think is drafting the articles?

When did we say anything had been proven? And the senate and house Dems in VA issued a joint statement calling for his resignation. Still waiting to see the evidence of how the Dems are treating Fairfax and Northam with kids gloves.

Your original post on the matter left it open to interpretation.

Perhaps you should be more clear and specific on what you're posting.

You mean if when he was in his late teens and very early 20s and couldn't forecast the lib driven future, he shouldn't be governor. I'd love to be privy to all the young libs who think they know it all now and then find sometime in the future that their past has just bitten them in the ass.
We are all dead in 12 years.

Perhaps you can make your point that the D's are not doing something. You are struggling to support your narrative. You have resorted to a false talking point.

Are you about to bring up the "rock <red hat> hard place" post again?

Honestly, I don’t think he should resign. But I do like messing with you. Do you believe he’s truly racist?

If he was racist in college, is there path for redemption? Should we just execute all of our prisoners since they too did something bad x number of years ago?

I've said from the beginning I think Northam should resign. And since Fairfax is willing to have a full investigation undertaken (unlike K), I'm more than willing to let that play out. Although if what the women are claiming is true, he should resign too.
Ok this is BS plain and simple and you pulled this crap during the interview of Kavanaugh. He had already been thru multiple screenings and checks by the FBI and he indicated he would comply with any request the committee made including further background checks. It’s the committees job to ascertain what methods and remedies would be used not Kavanaugh and Kavanaugh complied fully.

This just makes you look like a scorned bitter old shrew lady.
