Personally I feel the same way about the Lt Gov as I have when others are accused... prove it. As for the Northam photos, I’m opposed in principle to digging up stupid **** people have done from decades ago. If anything I think he should resign for lying about it. This entire episode has highlighted what a dishonest and brain dead loser the guy currently is - forget what he was like 30 years ago. However I was much more outraged by his support of infanticide. I've said from the beginning I think Northam should resign. And since Fairfax is willing to have a full investigation undertaken (unlike K), I'm more than willing to let that play out. Although if what the women are claiming is true, he should resign too.

Well it would be an opportunity for him to actually find a crime related to his charter for this investigation. And I’m sure he can rack up a few more process crimes to add to the tally too

I have no problem with him leaving office. I think he should resign and have said that since day one. Telling a lie that's not under oath is not impeachable though.

Forget under oath. If he wanted to run with the lie that he wasn't either of the two "on his page" go for it on Friday night. But he apologized on Friday night because it was him on his page. Then come out out on Saturday to do his lie fest. He has no credibility now and the VA citizens don't have any confidence in him to lead from this point forward.

You can't force Northam to resign. There would need to be impeachment proceedings (or whatever the mechanism is under VA law) to force him out. Additionally, you can't run for re-election, which lessens the pressure on Northam.

On Fairfax, not seeing anybody support him. All the Dems I've see are saying either resign or investigate fully. In fact, Fairfax has called for a full investigation, just like Kavanau...oh, scratch that, Kavanaugh was scared of the full investigation.

None of those Dems have declare him guilty prior to any investigation. Such an odd change of standard given the corroborating evidence in the Fairfax situation and the complete lack of such in the K one. K was determined to be guilty prior to any investigation (guilty and evil).

Kavanaugh was not scared of a full investigation. He repeatedly said he's fine with whatever the JC decided to do vis a vis an investigation. It's not his job to call for the investigation into himself.

It's a clear double standard.

You told us several times that Dem politicians "do the right thing". Here are 3 examples of Dem politicians not resigning. The sin of two of them (blackface) has resulted in one politician resigning....a Republican.

Interesting too that the only one action is being taken against is the black guy.
