Country music thread

I'll be on PCS leave during Frontier Days in Wyoming. Looked into going until I saw what their "country music" lineup is. Yikes.

Ouch. That's a far cry from Chris Ledoux.

Pretty good Texas Independence Day concert in NYC this year, only $30 so I'll probably go check it out, Randy Rogers, Josh Abbott, Casey Donahew, William Clark Green, Stoney Larue. Not bad for the price of a steak dinner.

I've heard that he's usually too high/drunk to be intelligible live.

I'd love to see him just to say I saw David Allan coe. There's not many like him left. I'm so sad I didn't get to see Merle. I've seen Charlie Daniels, and hank jr.

George strait, coe,and Willie nelson are on my bucket list.

I have a couple of shows I could pick from for a birthday present. Eric church, def leppard,Chris Stapleton, Brantley Gilbert (I know,I know. I can't help it, I like his music) or coe.

Going to see a free Kevin Fowler show tomorrow, I'm kind of on the fence with him. He's got some really good stuff and some stuff that's aimed for the lowest common denominator.

But, it's free and close, and if it's horrible I'll just go bet on horses and drink free whiskey.

I saw Eric Church with Brad Paisley a long time ago, heck I was still married, probably fall of '07 at the Eastern States fair. Was a fun show, he would be great in a small venue but I think his price point is probably beyond that now.

First row, 1/4 tanked. Should be fun.
